Horrible doctor
I was having a severe pain in my arm and I could barely move it so I went to see Dr. Nord that was my first mistake. She ordered an ultrasound a week past and I still haven’t heard back from Dr. Nord so I checked the patient portal but there was nothing there. I called the office and Dr. Nord told me the results were negative most likely it was a pulled muscle and two rotate heat and ice, it should most likely go away within a week. I asked her to post the results on the Patient portal. The next day I read the results and was a little Surprised because It stated (important) the radiologist explained that I had a blood clot. It also stated that I needed to be seen immediately. I called my cardiologist, he treated the issue immediately stating I was very very lucky. After telling Dr. Nord all she said was she sorry and explained to me that she saw The word negative on the top of the report and assumed everything was fine. Luckily, I am OK but could’ve been a lot worse. Just negligence.

Had me Blacklisted because I complained about her
I saw Dr Nord once when I was looking for a new PCP in 2021. I didn't like her demeanor, so I called Millennium and requested to change to a different PCP. The next day, I received a phone call from Millennium informing me that I was 'no longer allowed to see ANY doctors in the Cochran Blvd building'. Turns out that DR Nord, or her staff, reported me as being rude and unruly (which I wasn't), because I had requested the change. I am still blacklisted to this day, even after filing a grievance in 2023 with Millennium asking them to investigate and reconsider. They told me that they always side with there doctors and staff in situations like this, even after I told them that there was no 'situation', that the facts had been exaggerated, or down right fabricated by the doctor or her staff (they would not tell me who actually reported me). So the largest healthcare provider in the area, is denying me healthcare at their main facility.

I almost died from a respiratory infection that I had for years due to her incompetence. Did not order cat scans or cultures! I finally went to a new doctor who found my problem within 2 weeks after cat scans, bronchoscope, and cultures. I have lung damage. Currently receiving daily intravenous antibiotics and taking steroids. Thank god I went to another doctor!

Rude vile person
One of the worst people I have ever had to interact with in my life. Absolutely rude, argumentative, condescending, does not seem to care about people whatsoever. Dr. Nord should work in a research lab where she does not have to interact with patients. One of the most vile people I have ever met.

Dr Nord has been my physician since moving here 18 months ago. I am 70 years old and suffer from several maladies and have several unfavorable family histories. Dr. Nord and her staff have always been extremely responsive, have offered excellent care and are very professional. In addition, I find her and her staff to be very friendly. I am extremely satisfied with my level of care.

Janice Nord was my PCP for 2 years; she exhibited a total lack of bedside manners. She was condescending, demeaning, and brusque, unable to show empathy, care or respect, insisted I was "morbidly obese" even when I weighted 140 lbs., did not pay attention to what I asked or said (kept her eyes on laptop) gave me appointments just to approve refills, always with a stern or a fake smil. She seemed to enjoy making me feel bad about myself. I tend to believe she is bitter, unstable, and erratic (wished me a happy new year in October); her attitude caused me anxiety so I started seeing the nurse practitioner instead, until I found a real doctor. I regret not having checked her reviews beforehand as the negative ones I read recently are 100% accurate. No wonder why she is always accepting new patients!!!

Constantly exhibits how little she cares or thinks about her actions. Discussed ambien CR, and she states she not the sleep police. I asked about a referral for additional information. Nope! Called 30 days before my prescription ran out, was told call back within 5 days of needing the refill. I called today with 5 left and nurse calls back 20 minutes later saying I have to come back and see the doctor to get the prescription. Not their problem when I asked why they didn’t tell me this 25 days ago. At my last appointment she states I’m one of the healthiest 63 year olds she ever seen. With old people moving in from up north it’s like shooting fish in a barrel. I believe that’s why she is constantly accepting additional patients. Because she’s running them off so quickly.

Dr. Nord has seen my mother for over 10 years. I would strongly recommend her as a provider. Dr Nord takes the necessary time to explain everything to her and has taken exceptional care of her. I am thankful that Dr. Nord has taken such good care of her.

Let me start off by saying I never take the time to leave a “ bad review “ I do however complement the good kind people however I do feel Dr. Nord and her patients need to hear how I was treated , with that being said going to the doctor is not always easy especially for somebody with multiple complications I will spare you all the details Dr. Nord lacked compassion, bedside manner , and was downright rude . This wasn’t the first time and she also did it to my husband I caution anyone.

Terrible experience. She was extremely abrupt (rude) with me and insisted on Rx instructions that were in direct conflict with an on call doctor, additional doctor and a pharmacist. She is always rushed, highly pretentious and very demeaning. I gave this doctor many chances, we all have bad days, but Dr. Nord appears to always be having a bad day. Keeps her head stuck viewing her computer monitor, does not listen but attempts to argue. When you're not well, who needs this kind of treatment?

3 out of 4 of my relatives, including me, are not happy with her. I have barely met her. She is rushed and not really into talking with patients. When I needed an emergency visit (which led to gall bladder removal) her office could not see me and sent me to another dr. in the group. During 6 weeks of tests and surgery and to this day I have not been contacted by her or her office. ZThe response for prescription refills is slow and has required a follow-up call to her office.

Terrible bedside manner. Doesn't listen to you at all. Spends the entire time looking at the computer, barely looking up to even acknowledge the patient. Could not care less what you are saying to her. I will be looking for another doctor.

Dr. Nord is an excellent primary care physician. She with the able of assistance of her PA, has worked with me on a variety of medical issues, and I could not be happier with the care provided me. And, overall, I applaud the Millennium Physician Group, of which she is a part. Scheduling labs, x-rays, and other tests is almost seamlessly done in the system.

I like and strongly recommend Dr Nord. She takes a very personal interest in her patients and is very competent. I once had a bad infection that tests did not reveal at the time of testing. Nevertheless, based on what I told her and her own experience, she prescribed an antibiotic. As it turned out, I did indeed have what could have been a devastating infection but it's consequences were averted due to Dr Nord's experience and judgement.
