Dr Sherwood has always been very gracious and caring doctor. I've been seeing Dr Sherwood for over 20 years and I have never been disappointed in any of her treatments. She has always taken the time to listen what was going on with me and has always found a way to solve the problem. I am very satisfied with Dr Sherwood and I would not trade her for anything in the world. She's a very talented and intelligent doctor.

Provide great care
Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful concern in regard to my health and providing me with excellent care.I never felt rushed and was always listened to in all visits. I am most grateful for your kindness whenever I saw you and your staff.

Dr. Sherwood spent ample time with me to discuss my issues and took steps to provide answers. I will meet again with her to review the outcome of her research and hear the results of my blood work. The practice itself is very neat, clean and follows strict covid protection and privacy guidelines. The staff is friendly and competent.

Dr Sherwood ALWAYS is interested in how I’m feeling. She is very attuned to her patient’s well-being!! After years of suffering in silence, she diagnosed my RA and was quick but very selective in recommending medications. I chose NOT to relocate to another state when presented the opportunity because I did not want to lose her as my rheumatologist! I was remiss in not leaving this recommendation earlier!!

I think Dr. Sherwood is a very empathetic doctor. She took her time with me and gave me options that no other rheumatologist did in Virginia Beach. I like her a lot!

My primary doctor recommended her after my tests said that I had an autoimmune disease. She didn’t believe what the tests said.She said come and see me when you are having a fare up. But it took 4 months to get a visit. She has no empathy.

I would not recommend her because she is not a good listener. The facts are my tests say something was up and I had severe symptoms but in her opinion, nothing is wrong. I wasn't in a flare up at the moment so everything was in my mind. She has NO Bedside Manner. If you are not showing any symptoms right then like a rash or swollen joints, then nothing is wrong with. At least give me tests, to make sure and not just base it on you opinion. It was a total waste of my time.
