Awful
I saw Dr Atkinson when he was at Spartanburg regional. He was the worst psychiatrist I’ve ever seen! All he did was talk about himself and dismiss everything I medical condition I had in my chart. He said I have that too and I don’t need surgery to fix mine I just do this….. lol. I was like oh!!! Well a cardiologist recommended I have immediate surgery for my condition. (Not even the reason I was there). He put me on a sleeping med, for anxiety, which kept me awake all night. I went back and told him I could not take that medication. He threw his hands up and said “I can’t do this today! What do you want from me?” He left the practice soon after that. Under what circumstances I’m not sure. I was glad though to switch providers without the awkward, “I don’t wanna see you anymore”!

I Highly recommend Dr. Atkinson!
I was welcomed & signed in immediately upon arrival. I had a very small wait before seeing Dr. Atkinson’s nurse & them him. I told him how well the new med that he has me on was doing. We then talked about how I was doing. He answered the questions I had. A great visit to a great Dr. Dr. Atkinson has certainly improved my MS symptoms & I highly recommend him.
