Horrible, after radical prostatectomy, I developed scarring in the urethra that caused a stricture. His only solution was to have an operation every few months to remove scarring for the foreseeable future.

Excellent manner - made me feel comfortable

High PSA test, BPH, blood in my urine and damaged kidneys from antibiotics. My wife recommended him. He did tests, thoroughly explained my options and proceeded to treat all my problems. I'm in so much better shape now I can't believe it! Still working on BPH but no cancer and the prescription relieves my symptoms. He's very professional, skilled and I trust him totally. Office staff is very helpful and the waits aren't long usually. Never had a billing issue and once missed the appointment and got rescheduled quickly and they waived the late fee! Thanks so much...

The entire office experience was very professional yet friendly, also fast. Office was very clean. Dr. Berkowitz was very knowledgeable, kind, polite, easy to talk to and easy to understand. Very pleasant experience!!

Dr. Berkowitz and his entire staff have been truly amazing. I've had several visits to the office for bladder cancer and could not be happier with the extreme care they show towards their patients.

These people are making money. Why can't we have a human answering the phone? Why do we have to deal will phone trees?

Competency, ability to explain details, and friendliness

Great experience , Good doctor. Hate that know one in the office answers the phone. U have to deal with an off site phone messaging center, who r very unprofessional, uncaring to either make an appointment, or relate a message. Never seen or heard of a doctors office during business hours doing this. I don't think it creates a good patient to doctor relationship. Im sure the office staff loves it.

DR. Berkowitz is great! But he is a "1 doctor" office so if you have an emergency like I had and must see him ASAP, look to another practice.

Dr. Berkowitz has excellent bedside manner. He put me and my entire family at ease.

I am very upset that your staff will not take a phone call so that I can make an appointment.

Prior to taking my spouse back for a procedure the staff member assured me she would bring me back when the procedure was completed and the doctor was going to discuss that and other test results which we had been waiting for. Instead they never brought me back, did not give my husband copies or the CT, or Sonagram, tests which we were waiting for the results on from a week prior. The doctor spoke to my husband who is a stage IV cancer survivor without me to help remeber his comments.
