It started off well when I initially visited the office, feeling optimistic about my healthcare experience. The interactions were smooth and pleasantly straightforward until I began to ask questions about the process. My curiosity was sparked when I noticed a change in how my blood tests were being handled—previously, they were conducted right there in the office, yet now I was being referred to an external lab. Seeking clarity, I asked, 'Why was my blood taken in the office before, and now it's sent to the lab?' The response, brusque and dismissive, was simply, 'Needs to go to the lab. That is how it works.'Unsatisfied with such a vague explanation, I requested more information, trying to understand the rationale behind this new protocol. However, the conversation quickly soured. 'If you don't like how our office works, you are welcome to find a different PCP. I will not be answering anymore questions,' he said. Instantly, I felt a wave of frustration wash over me. True to his profession, Dr. Jared Lazar LISTEN's and responds clearly to all questions and/or worries. A rare quality in this day. He often calls after a visit to reassure himself & his patient all went well. I am 82 years old; Dr. Lazar is the first doctor in 45+ years I have total confidence in seeing to my continued health. I have recommend Dr. Jared Lazar to family and friends. It is appreciated when he doesn't ooze around a fact and let's me know exactly if an action I am taking is incorrect, or how to improve. I also commend that staff at General Practice Associates are exceptional.

If you're looking for a caring and thorough doctor, I highly recommend Dr. Jared Lazar. He listens to his patients, especially we women, with understanding, caring and action. He actually calls his patients back with results and guidance, something that is almost unheard of these days. I took my sister to see him, and all of the above occurred, when other doctors dismissed and didn't understand her issues.
