True compassion and knowledge
I was recently admitted to the ICU after having emergency surgery. Dr. Skirball’s bedside manner was so comforting during the scary and painful time for both myself and my wife. He coordinated with the rest of my team to switch up my pain meds and make me as comfortable as possible under the conditions. He’s extremely caring and is a good listener, which I find to be rare qualities in many physicians of his caliber. Everyone during my time in the emergency department, interventional radiology, and the ICU did their best to save my life, and I appreciated Dr. Skirball‘s compassion more than he will ever know.
