Dr. Jason Bruce, MD

From how I was treated by Boys Town Hospital's administration and their “make it right” insurance program, “3Rs” through COPIC, I would not recommend anyone go there or work with Dr. Bruce. I would though like to make clear that the other doctors, nurses and ostaff were nothing but caring and professional during the surgeries. This complaint is only with the hospital's administration (Dr. Bruce and Lori Umberger) and COPIC. I understand that errors occur but how this was handled and the lack of empathy from the hospital was terrible. I had to have a throat surgery redone due to (what I was told) a wrong lab test being ordered. I was told multiple other reasons initially on why this had to be redone. In short, the surgery required me to be put under with anesthesia while the doctor goes down my throat and takes a piece off of my vocal chord off to be tested. Going back the second time for surgery caused a multitude of issues and it was not made right.
