I supposedly had a consultation with Dr Hendrix who was referred to me by another Dr to ask about possible option for improving my vision. It has been a problem since I had RK Surgrey years ago. But instead I was treated as if I was going in for an eye examination and was put through a battery of unnecessary expensive test. I had one that they hooked me up to that was not even working correctly said they had to get a tech on but did not really need anyway. I was there for almost 2 hours. Then I finally got to a room to see the doctor and realized that they really did not even know what I was there for. When I explained it to the assistant, they sent someone else in to run another test which was the only one I needed for the consult and finally talked to the Dr which all took about 15 minutes? I would not recommend Dr Hendrix to anyone he doesn’t pay attention to his clients and what they are there for vert strange.

Dr Hendricks and staff were superb in all endeavors. He did removal of cataracts and implanted two new lenses. I also had a procedure to correct an astigmatism in one eye. Everything went as he explained. And I can see well without contacts or glasses for the first time in my life. Simply Phenomenal. I highly recommend him for any surgical procedure.

They wanted me to write them a blank check. I was not cool with that.

Nice guy and makes you feel in good hands although my cataract surgery was not successful. Opted for the more expensive upgrade. Ended up with blurry vision due to a fold in my membrane as they said. Had to wait a couple of months before they would treat. Then treated my eye with a laser treatment. Somewhat better but still blurred and uncomfortable. Doctor never called to follow up. Now they tell me to put eye drops in to lubricate. They say condition could last a few months. Sorry but if and when my left eye needs attention I will pick another doctor. Very disappointed with my experience with this doctor and clinic.

My association with Dr Hendrix began with a visit for a sudden problem, morphed into several visits and a surgery which I greatly regret. I am left with vision impaired and multiple and repeated bills.

Dr. Hendrix is by far the most detailed Ophthalmologist in southern Utah. Some people complain about wait times. They obviously have not gone to other eye clinics in St. George. I highly recommend Dr. Hendrix.

Had to wait 45 min. for a simple eye exam and patients were not being seen in order of their scheduled appt.'s. When I let the doctor know I was frustrated with having to wait and miss time from work he told me that there were other doctors if it wasn't "working out for me". So I will go elsewhere!

Before Dr Hendrix examined my eyes, his tech gave me vision exam with for new glasses. It was completely wrong. Went to an optometrist who confirmed Hendrix prescription was wrong and said Hendrix should have noticed when he examined me that new prescription was an extreme change which should have suggested to him that I had a serious health problem or inaccurate exam. Hendrix's office insisted I pay for the exam and refused to discuss with me. Very bad experience. Very bad medicine. Never again
