Dr. Jason Herndon, MD

I went through 4 other doctors and none could figure out my condition. Dr. Herndon knew it within a 10 minute timeframe & over the course of more tests and appointments, saved me from the most debilitating condition I ever experienced. He took the time to listen to me & problem-solve whereas many other doctors passed me along to a different one or shrugged me off for being “too young” for all that pain

When I came in on Jan 25th to be discharged .I was taken to a room by a nurse I guess .I ask her how she was doing .She barely ask me how I was doing. When I proceeded to tell her she replied I'm about to make it worse for you .No she couldn't make it any worse for me ..I don't think anything is worse than loosing a 32 year family member unexpectedly .I had no problem with the discharge it was the way she handled it .Thanks.

I have been seeing Dr. Herndon for a while now. He came highly recommended to me by a well known Neurosurgeon here in Murfreesboro. He takes his time with you and you never feel rushed. He sits down and answers all your questions making sure you understand what he recommends to you as his patient. He comes highly recommended by me. We are very fortunate to have him in our Murfreesboro area.

Dr Herndon seemed ok but their staff is the most incompetent people you’ll ever deal with. I had an original appointment to get a procedure July 11. They moved it up to June 28. Called at 4:15 the day before saying insurance is denied because they never got an authorization for the changed date. The appointment has been changed for 3 weeks at this time. Then I couldn’t even get my July 11 appointment Back and had to reschedule for July 25. I called insurance and they said all they had to do was make a phone call to insurance. Not to mention it took me 2 weeks for them to even call me back to get an initial appointment. I had to keep calling and keep asking about getting in to begin with.

Dr. Herndon is what everyone wants in a medical professional: knowledgeable, competent, compassionate, caring, excellent communicator and educator, friendly, and timely. I can't recommend him more as a RN with 36 years of experience. He has been a blessing to both my patients and the most important patient I have who happens to also be my husband! Dr. Herndon is the BEST pain management MD in the area so we are driving happily to Murfreesboro to receive his expertise and care.

Made the one hour trip from Dickson to visit the office of one of the finest young doctors in the state of TN. Office was clean, staff was wonderful. Certainly worth starting over. Wish we could give 10 stars!

I had been seen several times by Dr Herndon, a provider at the Murfreesboro Nashville Pain Clinic location. After a few months at that location, he was transferred to another clinic with Nashville Pain. I had reached a point with the Nashville Pain Clinic that their lack of care, services and demands had become unreasonable. I had no idea where Dr Herndon was practicing, but decided to Google him. Thankfully, he’s back in Murfreesboro!

Jason is currently practicing in pain mgmt in Brentwood (Nville) TN. Let me tell you- if you want a truly TRULY EXCELLENT pain mgmt doctor? Look no further than Jason Herndon at Nashville Pain clinic in Brentwood. Besides having a terrific bedside manner, as well as truly excellent skills as an anesthesiologist who perfectly administers intricate pain-relieving medicines upon your human form (relatively painless steroid injections, nerve ablations, etc)- this man has a true translucent spirit.
