Leaving Kurtz to Find new Dr
its too bad I like Dr Kurtz and he was very thorough but something strange is going on with his staff. he was willing to let me go as a PPO Patient due to continuous mix ups with his administrative staff. I recommend going somewhere else until he gets this under control.

Great first impression
As a new patient Dr. Kurtz made me feel like he was truly interested in my health. He summarized my past medical history quickly and then asked multiple times 'how can I be of service to you'. He suggested something new to consider and did not rush our time. I felt like I had someone who really wanted to help.

Excellent Doctor takes his time
I was looking for a great doctor in my area for a long time found Dr Kurtz absolutely amazing doctor does not rush and takes his time with each patient I see him and so does my wife. If you want a great doctor look no more My wife’s previous doctor had her blood pressure medicine all wrong Dr Kurtz did blood work and fixed her problem on the first visit. Office Staff super friendly and so helpful amazing team he has at this practice. The office is very very clean wait times are amazing not like other offices you wait in the lobby forever and then they bring you in the back room to wait again

Excellent Doctor
Extremely impressed with my first visit as a new patient in Dr Kurtz's practice. He took considerable time to evaluate my medical history, make some recommendations and a referral. His staff and office has the feel of a more personalized approach to providing medical services.

Mean Doctor; Inefficient staff
Dr. Kurtz kicked me out of his practice, a senior over 80 year-old tripped & fall a lot with heart surgery history and needed lots of attention for referrals. He said he gets paid by insurance company the same with patients visit him once a year or 1,000 times a year. Therefore, I assume that means he finds reasons/excuses to reject/accepting patients in his practice even though I had been with him over 9 months. His operation has lots of room to improve, but he won't accept suggestions from patients' honest sharing.

Never was happier to go to see a doctor. Short waiting time. He took time to lesson, asked questions, did a biopsy in his office. He has friendly and professional staffs, Jackie did a great job on drawing blood. Yes, I didn't need to go to lab for blood test! that's great for busy people. I will highly recommend Dr. Jason Kurtz to all my friends and loved one to you too.

Dr. Kurtz has been an amazing doctor to me for the past four years. He always took his time and always made sure I was given the care I was needing. I’m so sad my new insurance plan won’t cover him or I wouldn’t be leaving!

I accompanied my father(in good health), who was taking my mother (who has dementia), on a recent visit/check-up for both of them with Dr. Kurtz. I had heard prior (from several sources) about Dr. Kurtz, and was pleasantly surprised by his, as well as his entire staff's, bedside manner/manner of caring for the patient. It was truly refreshing to see and witness "the genuine caring," and I am so thankful that my parents are in such good hands. I would highly recommend Dr. Jason Kurtz if you are looking for a PCP who is honest, straightforward, and "treats you like a friend who cares."

I had decided to make Dr. Kurtz my new PCP after a many year relationship with a doctor in S. Orange County. (too far) Dr. Kurtz refused and questioned several of my routine meds that have kept me healthy for over 15 years. He, without asking my history with anti-depressants, became rather insistent I take daily doses of an anti-depressant. I am NOT tolerant of them and have had adverse reactions to all that I've tried. He also stated he didn't recommend colonscopy for someone my age. (I'm over 70) I am extremely healthy and from a family that are 100 yrs. His attitude was a bit critical and I felt it was condescending. I had seen him before since he's near my home...but I will NEVER return. I will drive the 40 miles to my old doctor that respects my choices to be responsible for my own well-being and NOT be drug reliant on mind numbing anti-depressants.

I have been going to Dr. Kurtz for only a few months now and I can't say enough good things about him and his staff. He takes the time to listen and he makes you comfortable. He uses the word "we" instead of you. The staff is welcoming, professional and cares. They all make you feel they are there for you and to help you get well. One other thing to point out. There is NEVER a long wait to get an appointment unlike other doctors these days.

Dr. Kurtz has been our family doctor for over 5 years. After seeing several doctors throughout my life, I am so thankful I found Dr. Kurtz. He is the only doctor I have ever seen that takes time to listen to you. He genuinely cares about his patients and his personality is amazing. His office staff are extremely pleasant and appointments are easy to schedule.

I found Dr. Kurtz when my husband's doctor wasn't available. I had a cold for a little too long and turned into infection as I woke up with gunk around my eyes. I called Dr. Kurtz office and was scheduled in right away. Dr. Kurtz was very kind, caring, and yet professional. He gave me some prescribed eye drops and antibiotics, which totally helped clear up my condition under 5 days. Every time I have to be seen last minute, the office was always good about scheduling me in.

Dr. Kurtz is absolutely amazing! I have never had a doctor who can even compare to his level of care for his patients. It doesn't matter what you are there to see him about he doesn't have you leave his office without making sure that every aspect of your health and life are ok. He not only asks but listens. He is thourough and takes a lot of time with you. My entire family wouldn't even think of seeing anyone but Dr. Kurtz. I would recommend Dr. Kurtz to anyone, any age, with any illness

I've been with Dr. Kurtz for about a year now and I plan to stay with him as long as possible. It's hard to find a doctor who isn't dismissive of your health concerns. I don't see the doctor but maybe once a year so if I'm making an appointment, it's because something is concerning me. I appreciate that Dr. Kurtz acknowledges that and looks at symptoms from every angle. I always feel good leaving his offices.
