Dr Lee was my mother’s doctor for years. He did NOT give her quality care. In fact, as she started to get sicker, he told her that she had been on dialysis for five years and that was the limit. He said that in his native country they would not have even allowed her to have dialysis at her age (70). Because she was getting weaker, he gradually started making her feel as though she was wasting his time. It’s like he wanted her to accept the fact that she was dying. He had NO empathy, horrible bedside manner, and was completely cruel. She ended up getting pneumonia and was sent to St. Michaels. She was told that she had some other medical issues and that the medication for it was too expensive. So basically she had to just deal with it. After so many days in the hospital, Dr Lee had had enough. He told her that he was going to put her in hospice in a couple of days, & he did. I went there and had her moved. Dr Lee should retire or have his license revoked for the poor care he gives!
