I owe this surgeon my life
I had a complicated surgery that was immediate and unexpected and Dr. Long saved my life. He successfully completed a complex surgery that left me in the ICU for almost a month. His surgery completely restored me to full health and his careful follow up and monitoring over the next month gave me back my full health. He spoke to me frankly, but kindly, and he explained every step and it's importance. This surgeon is a benefit to his profession.

More Myopia
Dr. Long is a caring, attentive physician who I went to see to diagnose a long-term and ongoing injury to the chest suffered from trauma. He requested and received a CT scan (negative findings) and did not know what was causative, was unprepared to open me up to find out and recommended acupuncture. He could have recommended MRIs or ultrasound. The latter was eventually done out of state by another MD who found both a muscle tear and injury to the 11th rib. I am now following a course of regenerative medicine. To his credit, Dr. Long was honest and did not make it worse, but not very imaginative.
