Dr. Jason Mehrtens, MD

Dr. M is the most competent and compassionate doctor I’ve ever had. Fantastic bedside manner AND knowledgeable about adult and pediatric needs. Couldn’t be happier to have found him. His staff is phenomenal also. It’s true “family” medicine.

Dr. Mehrtens is awesome. Quick wait to see him, listens to you and takes the time you want. He emailed me the next day after labs came back explaining everything! Love this new doc in the practice!

Meeting with him was my first time feeling comfortable seeing a doctor in the United States. He was kind and patient; although I asked him a lot of questions, he answered all of them patiently and thoroughly with kindness. I appreciated his time a lot.

Dr. Mehrtens is by far the best doctor that I have had. From his mannerisms to the way he is passionate about having healthy patients! I am not a native to Missouri and absolutely hate it but I can tell you one thing, this doctor is what those who attend medical school should aspire to become! It is very hard to find a doctor that is seasoned at listening to his/her patients, shows a great deal of empathy and compassion. Most doctors that I have encountered are in the wrong field but not here!

I saw him at WashU's student health services. He has great bed side manner. Seems like a very knowledgeable doctor that is wonderful at answering questions.

Mehrtens is an absolutely fantastic doctor. He is both extremely knowledgeable & extremely likable, which is a rare combination in a doctor. A lot of doctors are insufferable, self-important ****s, & many ignore material information because they're too busy massaging their own egos to listen to their patients. Mehrtens is top-class.
