Saved my life!
I met Dr Moreland when I woke up in ICU. I was lifeflighted to Ruby in heart failure. He performed 2 emergency stents, plus additional work days later. Amazing work. Showed so much care for me. I’m home, feeling 1000% better, and am being followed by the cardiology team at WVU.

Excellent surgeon, physican.
Clarified infro another Cardiologist gave me Preformed heart cath. Prescribed medication that I could tolerate. Superb Doctor.

My appointment was scheduled for 8:40am. I was brought to a room at 8:50, which is fine, but I then waited over 2 hours for Dr.Moreland to come into the room to see me. No one came in to let me know what the problem was, or how much longer it would take before he came in. He wasn’t apologetic at all about the wait either. All together, I was at his office for over 3 hours.

He has given me more time, through some amazing surgical work. We are so thankful that he intervened in my heart failure process. Even if only temporary, he has given me back some quality life, and peace of mind.

Having been employee at Johns Hopkins working directly with Cardiology. There was a lot of concern about me moving to West Virginia because of the care here. I have a lot of health issues that complicate my care. He performed some high risk stenting successfully and his skills are up with any doctor I have met at JHH. His bedside manner is A+ and in talking with him he cares deeply about his patients. Any and all of his procedures carry risk beyond his control. I would recommend him to anyone.
