A caring and skilled provider.
I have been going to him since 2010 when I moved to Durham. He has helped me navigate issues regarding my kidneys and PSA levels. Today's visit was short because most of these have been successfully resolved, although it is dangerous to write that on Friday the 13th

Note that the question is 'How likely are you to recommend' not 'How well do you like.' I had a great visit with Dr. Rothman as always and the support staff were friendly and efficient. My rating for the question is driven by the relatively low probability that I will be asked by anyone that I know for a recommendation for a urologist. Conditional on being asked that question, I would certainly recommend him, but the question was framed in a marginal not a conditional way, hence my response of a 3.

Personable and Caring
Took time to discuss my options and was very caring. What I really appreciated was the fact that he personally called to discuss my test results and next steps. Turns out my only issue was a large prostrate which I'm thankful for.

Sympathetic but straight-shooting physician.
Dr. Rothman spoke to me as an intelligent patient. He was sympathetic to my pain, but he was appropriately direct in treating me.
