If you are looking for lots of reassurance and help answering your questions (and you should have a lot of them), this is not the place to get them. Dr Snibbe is a pleasant enough guy, once you waited a day for someone to call you back to arrange an appointment and then waited the hour or two after the scheduled time to see him (every time). Regarding his surgical skills, they look great on paper but with my outcome of more pain than before surgery one year later, I would have to say they are questionable. The office however (to quote a friend who I found out later had used him) is a s**tshow. No one calls you back to answer your pre-op questions. They threaten to cancel the surgery if you don’t pay in advance. Dr Snibbe was not at the post-op visit. Don’t expect Dr Snibbe to help you with the pain post-surgery, other than some verbal reassurances and maybe a cortisone shot to temporarily reduce it. Bottom line, don’t expect anything, particularly post-surgery.

Dr. Snibbe is the best of the best. Dr. Snibble replaced my hip and my shoulder and I could not be happier. These were complicated and complex procedures that were performed to perfection by Dr. Snibbe. First, I had Dr. Snibble replace my hip (R) I was walking very well at the hospital on my own within 24 hours after the operation. I could not believe it. My right shoulder had bothered me for over 20 years. It continued to get worse as I got older but I was intimidated about the idea and all that was involved. I was also concerned about working again with Dr. Snibble. He had already replaced my hip, and now he would be replacing my shoulder. I remember thinking, that seemed odd. I also needed a root canal --- should I ask Dr. Snibbe about that too? Ultimately, I talked some of Dr. Snibbe's prior patients (who had shoulder replacements -- I went with my dentist for the root canal) and I heard good things. Well, within months I was ecstatic. Full range is restored.

I have had a lot of work on my body from Dr Snibbe. He is a Master at hip replacement. I can’t say enough good things about him. People will complain about wait times or little annoying unimportant things about him but when you need a master bone doctor he is the one. He repaired another doctors screw up and reattached my hamstring to my pelvis after this other doctor had at me. Truly he is the best. I walk straight have no pain and hike and fish all through the Sierras because of him. This is the man you want operating on your bones.

I had my hip replaced by Dr. Spitzer ar Cedars 2 months before I met Dr. Snibbe. Dr.Spitzer had put my hip in he had made my leg over 1.5 inches longer than when I went into surgery. This affected everything in my ability to walk, nerve damage, back pain and depression. Dr Snibbe immediately acknowledged the 1.5 inch error and said he could fix problem. This required complete new surgery. He corrected the gross error and I am living a wonderful life thanks to Dr. Snibbe. I truly love this guy.

He operated on my left exterior meniscus and a micro fractured knee cap. He did a perfect job and my knee is almost 100% 2 years post op. His bedside manner is excellent. Dr Sniibbe is superemely talentes, smart, kind and compassionate. I would recommend him to any loved one. He just operated on my fiancé who tore her labrum - and again did an excellent job.
