Dr Spector recently did a breast reduction and liposuction on me. After surgery I saw the effects immediately. I was happy with the results and his team especially PA Ann was amazing. I can go on and on about this amazing experience. I will recommend anyone looking for enhancement in his field to pay him a visit.

In good Hands
I was diagnosed with melanoma on my face in October 2024. My surgeon, Dr. David Kutler, suggested Dr. Spector for the reconstruction. Dr. Spector immediately eased my nerves . He explained the procedure he would perform and assured me I would be happy with the outcome. He was right. Everyone can’t believe how quickly I recovered and how good I look. Additionally Dr. Spector and his PA Ann Ni were always available for a call or for me to stop by and see them.

Excellent spine surgery wound repair
Dr. Spector performed a complicated wound repair for my spine surgery, and the result is excellent. I am healing without problems and will look great. He explained everything before surgery, and he and his staff were very responsive to my needs after surgery. I am very pleased with his care.

not my cup of surgery
He may be is a very good surgeon - but in my 10 minute consultation with him, he did not provide me with any plan of action or outline for the reconstruction of the very large hole on my forehead due to melanoma mohls surgery. He was honestly was a bit cavalier. He said, we'll have to see once we get in there...yikes.Obviously I did not use him.

Chinatown pricing & never met him
Dr. Spector never even came in to meet me before my surgery assisting with a spinal surgery open and close. He also never checked on me after. Then after paying $8,000 for an open and close in my tummy tuck scar his office tried to gauge another $580 out of me for a post op visit. When I pushed back they said it was actually for the consultation. Consultations in plastics is out toward surgery and post op visits is required by law, good ethics and and included in pricing usually. I was so disgusted with his unprofessional office staff I said have him call my husband to discuss your price gauging. He even upcharged his original quote. I don’t know if he does good work bc I haven’t been followed up with yet. I can’t believe he wouldn’t call and remedy this bad behavior by his staff and apologize for their price gauging. Plastics is an industry based on word of mouth. I highly recommend choosing another doctor with a better bed side and better business practices.

Breast Cancer/Mastectomy Patient
Dr. Spector is not only a brilliant surgeon, he is an amazing, funny, patient, and very empathic human being. I am not a fan of doctor visits, hospitals, or poking and prodding, and this could have been a horrific experience for me from the start. Instead I feel completely safe, cared for, heard and understood, and most importantly, I have full trust in my team, which is HUGE for me, since I have months to go for reconstruction. Staff is very knowledgeable, kind, patient and supportive.

Beautiful work
I look great after my tummy tuck and I felt safe in Dr. Spector’s hands. I told him I wanted to look curvy and natural and that is just how I look. And the nurses and other doctors at Weill Cornell also took excellent care of me. Dr. Spector is the best!
