The man gave me nothing but attitude and absolute nastiness. I don’t know what his problem was but he offered me NOTHING...another neurologist confirmed my broken neck when this guy said I had NO PROBLEM...same MRI with both doctors. An EMG confirmed the nerve damage, but this doctor dismissed me with with rudeness and disdain. I would never refer anyone to him for anything. I will NEVER understand why I received the treatment I did from this man, but he was unprofessional, and HATEFUL.

Dr Voorhies performed a spinal/neck surgery on my mother at the beginning of the year to remove a cyst. She is more restricted with pain & movement than ever before. Dr Voorhies has avoided her requests for further testing, ignored her questions & dismissed her as a patient. This man has caused my mother a great deal of pain & suffering and has deminished her quality of life. 7 months post surgery, she is now told she has nerve damage & will be in pain & on pain meds for the rest of her life.

Do NOT see him if you have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome with CCI or Chiari/Brain slump. His education is severely outdated, and his ignorance and ARROGANCE make him dangerous!! I wouldn't waste any time with him if you have Chiari or tethered cord. He doesn't know what he's talking about. Look up Dr. Bolognese or Dr. Henderson on the east coast instead. They know way more than this guy, especially about connective tissue disorders.
