Dr. Jason W Much, MD

I just completed two cataract surgeries with Dr. Much after being his patient for the last year and a half. I am extremely pleased with the results and how we worked together to find the right combination of lenses to get the vision I was looking for. I agree with the other two reviewers that the PAMF offices have a high throughput, but if you come prepared with your questions and concerns, Dr. Much will take the time to address them. I have also found him and his team highly responsive to messages sent through the MyHealthOnline app if you have forgotten something or need additional information. Also, I found his surgery scheduler to be very efficient at booking all the necessary appointments. I would highly recommend Dr. Much.

Like the other reviewer, I also had an extremely rushed visit. Dr. Much spoke at a ridiculously fast pace and barely let me get a word in. He also did not take the time to ask if I had any questions or concerns, and basically ushered me out of the examination room after less than 5 minutes and said all was fine and I was done. In times like these, any trip to see a doctor should be well planned and hopefully worthwhile. I felt this was a waste of my time unfortunately.

It is clear that Dr. Much is a smart, and highly trained ophthalmologist. Unfortunately, the goal at this office appears to be to spend as little time as possible with each patient in order to maximize patient throughput. Dr. Much spoke so rapidly when explaining my surgical options, that it was intimidating, and made it very difficult to have a normal back and forth conversation. My decision making process was compromised, and as a result poor decisions were made about the surgery. The end result was a surgical procedure that left me with far less than optimal results. He's a nice guy, and well trained, but patient interaction is poor. I cannot recommend him.
