Dr. Javeria Bhawal, MD

I recently had my first appointment with Dr. Javeria Bhawal, and I was thoroughly impressed by her presence, knowledge, and willingness to help. She explained the possible types of arthritis or autoimmune diseases I might have and recommended tests to narrow down the actual condition. Her compassionate and attentive approach made me feel truly cared for and more at ease.I have been in a state of “painsomnia” for over a year, constantly suffering day and night. For almost seven months, I have been burdened by a positive test for a possible autoimmune disease, likely rheumatoid arthritis, without knowing the exact diagnosis. After yesterday’s visit, I finally have some peace of mind.I highly recommend her to anyone seeking a knowledgeable and empathetic rheumatologist. Based on my personal experience, she really stood out as one of the best, unlike many others I’ve encountered, who often seem rushed and inattentive, Dr. Bhawal genuinely listened and cared about my concerns.

I am very sorry to share this review of Dr. Bhawal her profession is a challenge, requiring many sacrifices to be a Doctor. While she may have had a better approach in the past, currently she appears disorganized, uninterested, and unfocused. I cannot trust my health to someone who stands me up for a virtual appointment and Forgets the purpose of our meeting without being aware that the results of my studies had not yet arrived; how unfortunate. I have since found an excellent internist and rheumatologist who possess the professional qualities I seek.

I wish to thank Dr. Bhawal for taking time to truly listen, follow up with a thorough evaluation and then taking the time to explain the results and her assessment of them. Plus she provided the best summaries I have ever had in the patient portal so I can refer back to them. What a rare and wonderful experience to find such a doctor!! I feel Dr.Bhawal is a partner in my health. Thank you!

Dr Bahwal genuinely cares about her patients. I’ve been dealing with chronic, near debilitating pain for several months now. At times where I feel like giving up, Dr Bahwal is in my corner to keep search for a solution. Could not recommend her highly enough.
