Dr. Javier Soto, MD

I was surprised to read these reviews. Dr. Soto has been great. He delivered my 2nd son, and I'm now under his care for my 3rd baby. He is very kind and actually sits down, looks you in the eyes, and listens during appointments. During my last pregnancy, I was feeling paranoid and asked for another ultrasound just because it had been a while since I had one... without hesitation, he said sure let's schedule it! He came in to see me when I had gall stones during this pregnancy and was the BEST out of the whole medical team that I met with during that hospital stay. He was the only one that sat down and explained everything to me, all of the possibilities, the risks, the next steps, and if I seemed unsure, he explained further. I was very early in this pregnancy at that point and super scared about potential anesthesia. He also always has students with him, and I think that goes to show what kind of person he is. I trust him and I'm happy with his care.

First, let me say that Dr. Soto is a wonderful doctor and is very personable. HOWEVER, it seems that he is unavailable for scheduling because he has too many new patients and you can't get an appointment for 7-8 months? Now let me tell you that when I attempted to schedule my next appointment at my last appointment, they couldn't do it because their scheduling only goes so far. And when my daughter attempted to reschedule an appointment due to COVID, she got the same story. Now she is a HIGH RISK for breast cancer and is supposed to see him every 6 months. There is no concern about her health. This is total B.S. Due to the influx of people moving here and getting no new doctors to choose from, this is how our medical community is treating their patients. Whis is what they offer. Ridiculous.

Very professional staff, Dr. Soto took his time to listen and answer all my questions. I highly recommend Dr. Soto

D Soto delivered my second daughter. I would have been better delivering on the side of the road. He was extremely rude, he did not "believe I was in labor" despite me calling him, reviewing my contraction pattern, including my last cervical exam results, and the fact that I was scheduled to come in less than 36 hours for a planned induction. When I arrived to the (empty) unit, my cervix had changed from my previous exam, however not enough to be in active labor. I asked for pain medication and was told no. I was told I'd be checked in two hours. When I couldn't stand the pain anymore an hour and a half later, I was rechecked by the nurse and found to be 7cm.He finally showed up, stood in the door with his arms crossed and said "I guess you're in labor." As I was writhing in pain and throwing up. The nurses were trying to get me to sign stuff and start an IV. He saunters in, slams the stirrups down, and says "get in." If I could give him zero stars, I would. I felt uncomfortable with the way he handled appointments. It was creepy. He was very unprofessional and unethical in his conduct. I would never recommend him to anyone. He did not respect me as a person or a patient.

This man is not only a complete creep, but he has so many malpractice lawsuits against him. NEVER recommend

Dr. Soto and his staff are excellent. As on previous visits, he sat down in his office and spoke with me prior to my exam. (The only doctor I've had do this in years!)

Dr. Soto is not a good doctor. He lies and is insensitive. He put me down. I don't trust him. He and his staff are bullies.

I couldn't trust him and wouldn't recommend him. I was disappointed in his care. His staff was very rude.

I went in told him what I have been going through was very rude, didn't have any patience at all acted like he knew how a woman felt and literally made me cry!! I went into the hospital that weekend where they found something.. some people do not need to be Doctor's!

Dr. Soto is a very loving and caring GYN. He listens to all of my concerns and gives me good medical advice.
