I had an appointment with Dr. Jawad Ul-Hassan through MD Live telehealth. During the pandemic, I needed a refill on my pills for blood pressure and diabetes. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. These are medications I've been on for a long time and they do their job. I have zero side effects. Outside of Covid, I see my doctor annually for blood work and a physical. Well, my family doctor hasn't been available for some time now and keeps rescheduling my annual well-check so I've had to use telemedicine, which is also covered 100% by my health insurance. Dr. Jawad Ul-Hassan was insistent I go to an urgent care clinic because he didn't want to do a refill. I explained that my insurance won't cover urgent care but telehealth is covered so I can only afford telehealth. We spent a long time going back and forth about his. Finally, he wanted to know when my appointment with my family doctor is schedule and he did refill just enough pills (3 weeks) until then. Diabetes and blood pressure.
