Impossible to Contact Office
Had one appointment. Dr. Forgot to send prescription multiple times. Took a call on Mon, Tues, and Wednesday before he sent it in. Needed to contact office after - The only way is by phone, and they don't ever pick up. Leave as many messages throughout the week as you want, but Good Luck having them get back to you. I left a message every day this week, Again! Sometimes you'll get an operator, and they take a message, which most of the time either doesn't get relayed to the doctor, or the doctor forgets about it.

Simply the very best!
By far the best psychiatrist I have ever worked with, and I have worked with several over the years. Dr. Kuris found the right combination of medications for me and has alleviated my anxiety, depression, and sleep disorder to the point where it has now been in remission for well over a decade at the time of writing this. I can’t express how grateful I am to have Dr. Kuris as my psychiatrist. He is simply the very best, wait times are very limited if at all, Dr. Kuris listened to me & answered all of my questions, there was no rush whatsoever during my appointment. My condition was thoroughly explained, and by all means I trust Dr. Kuris’s decisions with my mental health and any concerned I have about my mental well-being. From having been morbidly depressed with severe panic attacks that would not stop. Simply an extremely vicious cycle. Which today I can now say I have gotten the help from Dr. Kuris which has made every day that passes a day filled with joy and gratitude!

Dr Kuris is a great psychiatrist
I did not have the same experience as the person that left a 1 star rating. He inquired about my whole medical history. He spent over an hour with me going through my medical (physical and mental) and medication history. We went over the multiple medications that I am currently on and he already alerted to me which medications that I am on that my not be good for me and my body and that they most likely should be switched to another drug in the near future. He is willing to work with your therapist to reduce and change your medications over time so that you have the correct balance for your body. He said that his ultimate goal was to reduce down my medications until I did not need them anymore.

Concerning the root of the Undercover Cop feigning a condition, and the root of how Dr. Kuris was singled out. One needs to look at the review that was negative, pretaining to medication. That particular individual my gut tells me is the root. If you look at the general tone of the review, the Dynamics is that of one who does not accept responsibility for their decisions. That individual was not looking to solve, he was looking to blame and punish. I must say this. the Undercover Police Officer is no prize either. Individuals who are eligible for a Career in Law Enforcement must meet a criteria of Psychopathy. CEO'S Lawyers and Law Enforcement are the top fields for Psychopathy. You will not find a more ethical and compassionate individual. Speaking as a Paralegal,. I would recommend Dr. Kuris retain a Private Investigator to investigate a Patient that ticks that gut feeling. If you are a legitimate Patient you won't care. If your not a legitimate, you will care.

Dr Jay Kuris listened, made suggestions and was very helpful. He was able to wean me completely off of medications that other doctors had put me on- when I was ready to start cutting back-and then withdraw-under his guidance and with his support. As a result, I have now been pharmaceutical-medication-free for the past 4 years, and did not have to be hospitalized, either. I rate him as an excellent doctor of psychiatry.

Dr. Kuris is an excellent psychiatrist. I would consider him the best psychiatrist in all of New Jersey when it comes to knowledge of medication and brain chemicals. I have referred several friends and individuals to him and they have all been well pleased. He also has high quality therapists and other programs to meet patients needs. His demeanor is kind and caring. I would highly recommend him. If he cannot handle your issue, he will tell you and refer you to someone else.

Amazing Doctor, always goes above and beyond any expectations I've ever had with a previous psychiatrist by all means, (if I could leave a higher score then 5 stars I certainly would)! He is an amazing Doctor/that I've found to be an amazing help, through difficult times in my life and has continued to be!

He prescribes medication without knowing the patients history. I caution anyone going to see him if you have addiction issues. He is easily manipulated by his patients and actually wonder what is thought process is when prescribing certain medications in combination. My suggestion would be to find another Psychiatrist.
