I had a very rough beginning to the year 2024 with both my parents passing within 3 months of each other. Dr. McMurren genuinely cared for my mental as well as health well-being. He is very compassionate and cares about his patients.

Gunnison is small town and, as such, you get to know pretty much everyone. Jay McMurren is a great guy and a phenomenal doctor. I haven't seen him in years but he was always wonderful with my kids and a great doc for a new mom! He helped with my oldest when I didn't really know what I was doing and, by the time we got to number 3, he sat back and let me steer. It was amazing because he empowered me to feel in control of my health care experiences and he showed as much trust in me as I did in him. Love this guy!
