Dr. Pond is excellent. He's one of those (often times rare) Doctors that listens to you, explains your condition in understandable language , outlines a treatment approach that always has options where they exist, and involves you in the decision about what to do next. When you find a guy like this don't go to anyone else - period. He's the best.

Two years ago Dr. Pond replaced my right knee. He did an excellent job, years earlie my left one was done and Dr. Ponds work way better. He takes the time to explain procedures and is very thorough and very caring . My last visit a few weeks ago was because I thought my knee had a problem but it turned out it was a back issue affecting my knee??I love my knee, was given medication for the inflammation in my back and that has worked out well . Dr. Pond is very professional and kind. I would refer him to anyone, in my opinion he’s the best of the best ?????

Had total knee replacement September 2019 and I could not have been more pleased with the results. Dr. Pond and his staff are AWESOME! I had been seeing Dr. Pond since 2015 for pain in my knee. He does not push you to have surgery. I had injections for several years, then when I thought it was time, Dr. Pond explained the entire procedure, recovery and rehab to make me comfortable. His staff and the course you attend prior to surgery, will answer any and all questions you have. I was walking the SAME day of surgery! I would highly recommend Dr. Pond at Arlington Orthopedic Associates to anyone . You will not be disappointed

My experience with Dr. Jay Pond was life-changing. I wrote a 500 letter review but this site won't let me put that much in, so here is a shortened review. I tore my quadriceps tendon. I had surgery with a DIFFERENT doctor. That surgery, for whatever reason, was not successful. That doctor said he could perform another surgery, but said it would not do much good because my knee was too old and deteriorated (I was 55 at the time). After dragging that bad leg around for 1 and 1/2 years, my family doctor highly recommended Dr. Jay Pond. I visited with him and found him to be a no nonsense type of guy, with a dry sense of humor. He was purported to be highly-skilled, especially at second surgeries when a first surgery does not work. He performed the surgery, and now one year later, I am almost as good as new. The surgery itself seemed to be much easier to recover from and went smoothly (great team). The drugs were less pervasive. I can never repay Dr. Pond for giving me my life back!

Went to see Dr Pond after an ankle injury. He took the time to review my MRI and explain my options. He recommended I not do surgery and that was the right decision. The ankle healed and I was able to complete two Ironmans since. Thanks Dr Pond.

Competent , knowledgeable, trustworthy, on the cutting edge of technology, and an excellent surgeon. Good bedside manner. Thorough in every aspect. I have had 2 knee surgeries with him & have recommended others to him who have had great experiences with him throughout their surgeries, recovery, etc. He operates in a fabulous hospital in Arlington that was more like a resort/hotel than a hospital. I do not have one single complaint. His staff couldn't be better or more accommodating. 10 Stars!
