My family and I have used Dr. Proctor since he began his practice in Beaumont over 40 years ago. We wouldn't use anyone else. If I had a complaint, I'd list it ... but I don't.

I am leaving Dr Procter’s practice, after 30 years. Some prescription’s are hard to get refilled, always the same problem. P.A. approves the refill but takes forever to get his approval for refill timely. I always to to call back and remind them, I am spending to much time chasing the refill down, having to go back and forth calling the pharmacy and Procters office. Just like today, Christmas Eve they promised they would send refill to pharmacy, but no luck. They are closed and I am out of medication. But is typical.

My bad experience is with billing, I'm randomly billed several times a month for copays i already paid in person during visit. I get 74 dollar bill sent to me for lab that was supposed to be part of my copay, they blame it on my insurance, but since it was preventable should be free.. I call insurance they say that they cover 100% and even told the family practice that.... why is family practice billing me if I've already paid my copay and preventable is free?????? This office is now a joke. Don't ever see Roman Carpenter he's the worst PA ever. All good PA's and Dr's have left this practice. Dr proctor no longer cares about his patients he's just waiting to retire.

they completely lied to me several times about their services and whether tests would be covered by my insurance. I was told my lab tests for my physical would be covered. When I show up for my results, they charge me $100. I then get a bill from the outside lab for $300. My insurance said they couldn't cover the tests because they weren't preventative. I call the dr office, they say the bill was in error and I didn't have to pay. A week later, I get n email that I do have to pay. Terrible!!!
