Dr. Jay Selznick, MD

I went for a tooth extraction a month before writing this. He himself was generally fine, and the office was fine. Nothing extraordinary. He worked fast, and got my teeth out. He wasn't rude or anything.However, despite the extraction, I still get severe tooth aches at the extraction site. I know it's not dry socket or anything, and it's healed over. But I still experience so much pain even a month after, so I feel like this was possibly botched. I can't tell you how or what happened, because he never told me how the surgery went. He and his assistant just gave me a care bag and then kicked me out. I also did get several major canker sores around the extraction site, but that may be from trauma. Still, I've never had these issues with prior dental work, so the only thing I can think of is that he made an error or there was some complication and he didn't inform me, so I can't give a good reviews based off of this experience.

This doctor barely lets you get a word in , never stays on topic , rushes the conversations is extremely rude talks down to you be-littles you . Honestly just cuz he does decent work doesn’t mean that is he a good person . I personally didn’t have a good experience with him and would never recommend him.

I highly recommend Dr. Selznick for his ability and his professional courtesy towards his patients. The doctor and his entire staff are caring and courteous towards not only their patients but their families and or friends as well. The office is impeccable clean and totally up to date with a great concern towards your comfort. More importantly, Dr. Zelznick is a highly qualified oral surgeon and will handle any problem he may be faced with. His office location is 8350 West Sahara Ave.

I had a bad experience with this Dr. Consultation was a nightmare starting with an appointment afterwards for the surgery. Selznick talked down to me after my insurance info and complained about paper work and that it would be another month before getting an appointment, but if I had $2000.00 cash he could do the surgery quicker. Surgery went well, follow up(Dr said I don't have my money yet. 2 weeks later, found that Dr. Selznick did not contour the bone for denture. Stay Away from Selznick

He is a great oral surgeon I would go back to him again

i had 3 teeth removed and i was so scared because of past dental experiences. i have to say i had the most amazing experience with dr. selznick. he and his staff put me at ease with their warm friendly attitudes...i wish i could have that kind of experience everytime. thank you dr. selznick and staff ?

His dental team is very friendly, but the receptionists are a bit antagonistic and apathetic towards the customers. The clerks are there to do all the paperwork and calling but they are the face and voice for the customers to hear. They may be very good at paperwork but they aren't people person. Once past the waiting room it's like a different office- the assistants are smiling and caring, the dentist does seem rushed, but that was expected since i had to wait 2 month to see him.
