I have been with J. Mukherjee, MD for a number of years now. I asked many questions while I was there for a cardiology checkup. (I am a Molecular Biologist, so I tend to ask very technical questions.) Dr. Mukherjee was quite responsive and demonstrated a broad knowledge of the area. It is refreshing to be in the care of someone who is so in tune with new things currently being looked at in Cardiology and willing to listen and respond. He was thorough and quite concerned. I would recommend him to my best friend.

What a pleasant and knowledgeable cardiologist. I have seen Dr. Mukherjee a number of times. I found him very knowledgeable about current issues in cardiology and willing to talk to me about some of the research I have found on the web. He was pleasant, did not rush me and did a very thorough job in his exam. After my cardio stress test, he called me and spent time discussing the test results. I can't recommend him highly enough!

After my cardiologist left the area, she recommended I see Dr. Mukherjee given his extensive experience with heart disease. I was nervous for my first appointment because I really liked my original cardiologist, but after meeting Dr. Mukherjee I knew I was in excellent hands. His clinic was very busy, but I never felt rushed during my appointment. He wanted to get to know me as a person as well as a patient. Right after I got a cardiac MRI, he was at the imaging center to go over the MRI with me in person!! He was very thorough but made it easy to understand. I recently left him a message on MyChart, and he called me back the next morning after he thoroughly researched the answer for me. He even mentioned that he called another heart doctor for a second opinion about my question. He also asked about some things he remembered about my personal life from our first appointment, which was a nice touch. He is very professional and easy to talk to. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

My husband and myself have been patients of Dr. Mukherjee for over a year. We are very pleased to have him as our preferred cardiologist as the last cardiologist we had, never seemed to have time to listen to us. Dr. Mukherjee is very knowledgeable and we trust him with our health issues. My husband is a heart patient with diabetes and hypertension and has had quadruple bypass. He is now surviving only on medications and we are so thankful to Dr Mukherjee for following up on his care. He is prompt, professional and caring and will call us to make sure we are following up on his instructions to get the best care possible. Both of us have pacemakers and we know we are in good hands with Dr Mukherjee. I myself am a cancer survivor with arrhythmias and he makes sure we keep our appointments regularly and keeps up with our monitors, tests, ekgs etc. We are blessed to have such a caring and amazing doctor in our lives who is knowledgeable all round to give us the best advice for keeping fit

I've asked HealthGrades to remove the other review of this physician. it was my review. I originally didn't request an appt w/Dr Mukherjee, I requested a Dr I'd seen b4 & liked very much. They said he couldn't see me for several mos. & THEY set us up w/this doctor! Initially we were very happy w/him. He prescribed medication that was known to cause psoriatic flares, which it did for me. If he had used it as a learning experience & moved on, continuing to work w/me, I would've been okay with that. Instead he referred me to a nephrologist (kidney specialist & I do NOT have kidney disease) My husband & I feel that he wants to dump me off on another doctor & not treat me. They've really been jerking me around & in the meantime, my hypertension is going UNTREATED! This is absolutely Not acceptable! Not only would we have to pay another doctor, I'm disabled & this is a HUGE burden for me! Avoid this Dr if you have high blood pressure!
