Very caring! Laughed at jokes told to him in my husbands lowest point. Explained questions and concerns even listened to my grandson who was present when injury occurred. We totally respect this Dr and highly recommend him.

Terrible experience
If you want a caring, responsive doctor and staff, this is the wrong place to look. The ER instructed me to get a follow-up with Dr. Trahan after a C1 fracture and they did not return my phone calls for a week. Then, they said that Dr. Trahan could not schedule a visit for a month. The ER provided the wrong size cervical collar and I could not even get a prescription to get a properly fitting one. This is one of the worst healthcare experiences that I have had. Find a different doctor.

I am very disappointed that I did not see this doctor since the morning just before my surgery, didn't even come in my room after surgery and explain things to me and see how I was doing, I didn't even see him at my office visits I had to see his nurse practitioner.

Rude, cuts down other dr.s diagnosis who have more experience than him. Screams at patients. Doesn’t even examine his patients.

Dr. Trahan is great, he takes time to discuss and explain options and possible outcomes. I am pleased with the outcome of my Surgery and although I hope to never have to have another surgery if there is a need in the future I would definitely go right back to him. I trust him totally with my care.

If you are wanting test results in a timely manner, do not see Dr. Trahan. It is ridiculous in this age of modern technology for it to take so long for a doctor to get results to you. It is uncalled for. I am a nurse and my husband is a nurse anesthetist so we are very familiar with the medical community and how it works. The timeliness and efficiency of his office has much to be desired. No patient should wait 2 weeks for results that were ready the day after the test. Period.

This Dr. Did not explain things. Was rude & cutting in his remarks. Did not listen to what I had to say about my symptoms. I would not recommend him to anyone!. Left me with no options of finding relief of my pain.

Trahan does NOT listen to patients, including going against my direct order of being allergic to a particular item and still using it for TWO SURGERIES. This caused major bedrest, additional pain, and additional dr. Visits with my internist. Had he paid attention to my allergy issues TWICE, my recovery period would have been a whole lot quicker than needed. He never called to apologize, but yet he had his nurse practitioner do his dirty work. Can’t trust a dr who doesn’t listen to you.

Hospital staff speaks very highly of Dr Trahan. I am very please with the time and honesty he deleveries. He talks very confident. He is a very laid back guy which helps him spend time with his patients. You don't feel like once he is in the examine room he is out before you can think of what you need to speak to him about. Well mannered just an overall good doctor. Very knowledgeable.
