Dr. Jean-Pierre Mobasser, MD

Dr Mobasser is a wonderful Dr. I have been his patient for many years. He is not a dr that rushes to do surgery. I waited for a couple years before I had my first surgery. He explained everything that would be done . Also he made it clear that I must follow his instructions because doing so would increase my healing process faster. He followed my progress from the start to the finish. After my first surgery I was in so much pain . Dr M treated treated my pain so I could rest better. I have had 2 surgeries with Dr M , I trust him 1000% . Dr M and his staff are the best. I’m am blessed to have them as my caregiver. Thanks for being there for me. Wish I had you years ago.

Dr. Mobasser performed my microlumbar discectomy over a year ago and completely changed my life. Have had no complications since and my healing process was great. Gave me my life back, would highly recommend him and the team at Goodman Campbell.

I was refer to Dr. Mobasser by a friend who is also a DO. I have been having a significant amount of lower back pain, and had seem 2 other surgeons who recommended two totally different surgeries. that were quite far apart as far as the diagnoses go. I had my records from my previous appointments forwarded to his office. Today I got a call from his MA, who said that he reviewed my records, and that because of my BMI, he didn't have any surgeries to offer me at this time. When I asked if he had a recommendation from the other two options, she again said that there was nothing he could offer me. When I asked if he would at least see me, she said that he was very busy, as he was one of the top surgeons in the area, and that since he didn't have anything to offer, he just couldn't take the time to see me. How arrogant and rude! He may be a great surgeon, but his compassion for people in pain is non-existent. Beware, don't expect any empathy from this guy.

Dr. Monasser’s team including RN nurse Bell have been a lifesaver for me. Nurse Bell swiftly assessed my back pain and reassured me it was not the worse case scenario I had imagined. She waked me through my x-ray explaining in plain language my issues and helping me understand my treatment plan. She was very patient and extremely well versed in my condition. Grateful to have this team of highly regarded professionals caring for me in during a rough time of my health care journey.

I met with his PA today to write an order for a new MRI. Once those results are in, I'll meet with Dr. Mobasser.

Excellent staff! Dr. Mobasser was on time and answered all of our questions. I am recovering very well from my surgery and progressing as anticipated. After the appointment I knew exactly what I needed to do and when my next appointment was scheduled for. An excellent experience from start to finish.

I needed an opinion on whether to have spinal surgery and what kind. Based on what he saw in prior X-rays and MRIs, he felt I should get a more current MRI, but also felt my condition could be better handled by a different specialist in the same practice. Dr. Mobasser came highly recommended and he was very nice, but I have nothing to base any recommendation on.

I saw Erin on Thursday, July 15 for a lower spine exam. She had a lower spine x-ray and she came back into the exam room and shared the results for my lower spine x-ray. She is ordering a MRI at AMI in Kokomo, In.

Yes I would recommend him. Dr. Mobasser is very smart and talented. He eased my mind and was able to tell me immediately what was wrong with my cervical spine even though the radiologist had not read my MRI yet. He had images on a CD and said all I needed was a C-6 selective nerve root injection for a herniated disc. He did not try to push surgery on me and said the least invasive option is usually a pretty good option for most people and stops the pain. Dr. Mobasser and his entire staff are top notch and caring individuals. Five stars in my opinion.

Very rude

After seeking treatment for spinal stenosisl for years and reaching a point where it was difficult for me to walk, I made an appt. with Dr Mobasser. I explained my problem and after an MRI, he scheduled my surgery. A discectomy, foramenotomy and a laminectomy later. I was walking normally with no pain. Eleven years later, I am still pain free. I had a phenomenal experience this week at Goodman Campbell Neurosurgery. From the minute I walked in to registration, the entire experience was so incredibly efficient, informative and more than satisfactory. I met with Erin (a nurse practitioner in the practice) and within 30 minutes, had an x-ray done, a review of my condition and a plan to remedy issues I have been having with neck pain, along with a follow-up plan should I need further treatment. Going to a neurosurgeon's office can be an anxiety-inducing experience but my visit to Goodman Campbell was anything but that. Thank you!

Dr. Mobasser and all of his staff are caring and compassionate. They always have an answer for your questions and a solution for your problems. I would recommend to anybody to use Campbell, Goodwin for their health and surgery needs.

Everyone was so caring from the Front office to Dr. Mobasser. They were very good at explaining my upcoming surgery and took the time to answer my questions. I appreciated Erin, the nurse practitioner, going over the MRI results on the screen because it was good to get the visual of what is happening.

Very honest and straightforward

I didn’t see Dr. Mobasser. I saw his NP instead. I was told he was available if I needed him Erin was excellent, easy to understand and good at explaining my condition.

Fixed! Pain from my lumbar all the way down leg and my foot was numb. Woke up in recovery and had no pain anywhere! 6 months I have dealt with this. Had to wait 2 months for surgery because if the COVID thing. Dr Mobasser is very skilled and knowledgeable. If I ever have to have anything else done to my degenerating cervical and lumbar discs, I will go to Dr Mobasser
