Dr. Jean Ross, MD

Dr. Ross did not take my pain seriously or listen to what I had to say, then she insulted me. I assume it is because I am young and female. I am so disappointed to encounter female doctors who are unwilling to listen to, or advocate for their female patients. I am confident that if I was a man, she would have taken me seriously. Unfortunately, I have found that this is common in healthcare. I had to go to a different UC to receive care. If I could put 0 stars, I would.

Even thought she is not my Primary I had the best experience with her concerning my health. From the beginning to the unexpected follow up call I’d have to say Dr Ross is on point and If I lived in her region I’d certainly consider her as my primary care physician. Thanks Dr. Ross.

I visited Dr. Ross at Kaiser urgent care. I had a round cyst on the back of my leg. She was very dismissive, saying it was not skin cancer, even though I have had a long history of it. Weeks later when it changed again, I was sent by dermatology to surgery for an operation to remove a large squamous cell skin cancer. I lost weeks because of her misjudgment. If you google squamous cell cancer, a picture will appear that looks exactly like what was on my leg. She also never looked at my face!
