One of the best doctors!!
Dr. Hirschi must have known I have a fear of doctors because he came in my ER room very friendly, with a smile, making jokes and teaching me things that I didn’t know before! He made the environment comfortable, double ordered my blood test to make sure everything was okay! While my issue was never discovered, he did make sure that I was healthy and not dying which I highly appreciate lol. He cancelled out all of the things my primary doctor was worried I had and without Dr. Hirschi’s help I would’ve been a frantic mess!! He has a lot of vibrant energy and knowledge to offer the world and it was an honor to meet him! 10 stars! Please give him a raise because he is one of the rare doctors who cares about his patient’s physical and mental health and comfort!

Dr. Jeff Hirschi
my experience with Dr. HIRSCHI, very very positive. He came in reassuring., talk to me like I’m a human being. he also understands that I am a woman that suffers from PSTD and an anxietyThis last year’s have been extremely tough on me, he comfort me with his words he was understanding he did the appropriate testing. Kind reassuring the experience was great and yes, I would like to have more doctors that have his bedside manner. Yes, we’ve butted heads in the past. But I think that we put all that behind us, now that he knows my personality. I’m a very nervous chatty person. That’s how I with my anxiety.a lot of people don’t understand they treat you like poorly thank you. There’s a lot to say about body language, you can tell when you’re going to be brushed off like a piece of lint. For the stuff as well.

Dr. Hirschi is a great Doctor! I’m a regular visitor to the ER and every time that he’s treated me, has been with genuine care and a reassuring demeanor. He addresses the problem head on!!! People need to realize that every single medical personnel do their best at their jobs in the ER and give the best care under the most stressful environment and need to understand the word “patience”! I appreciate the medical staff and know that we are getting the best care possible!!!

Poor Beside manners and concern for people
My wife went to the ER after the paramedics said she should. Upon arriving the neurologist said it was not a stroke/heart attack. My wife has been falling for some time and has had to go to the ER several times. Dr. Hirschi came in, pointed his finger at me and said, in anger, you need to get control of this! She has been on meds after having 2 neck 1 back surgeries. This was not a panic attack. My daughter-in-law noticed my wife's blood sure was low, even after she was given an IV, which might be the reason for the current issue. My wife could not stand yet and Dr. Hirschi sent us home. My wife keep saying I can't stand up but he did not care. Since then went to a Hematologist, did complete blood test, that showed some issues and even some possibility of cancer in the bone marrow. Dr. Hirschi could have shown compassion for a person who was struggling even if he had concerns about her medications. She could not stand up and we just wanted to get help. Stay clear of Dr, Hirschi!

I saw Dr Hirschi in the Emergency Room at McKay-Dee Hospital. After running tests to find a diagnosis, he said he had looked at my medication list in my chart. He then prescribed me a medication that has "severe" reaction to 3 of my current medications. I found this out from the pharmacists. I also felt rushed when I asked him a few questions and he consistently interrupted me.

I was brought in by ambulance, having a heart attack. I thought the whole staff was fantastic. Particularly Dr. Hitachi. He had a great sense of humor, when appropriate, and was very thoughtful and thorough, and explained things in a way that we could understand. His bed side manner was what my wife and I needed to ease the tension of a very scary situation. I, and my family owe him a debt of gratitude! Thank you Mackey Dee hospital, and Dr. Hirschi!

Ran a bunch of unnecessary tests for a simple diagnosis of pressure on the brain caused by spinal fluid. He could never tell me what my actual diagnosis was and ran for unconsented drug test because he thought that I was on meth or cocaine. He is one of the worst doctors I've ever run into and I would avoid him if possible

Judgmental. I went in to get a drain removed after a tummy tuck. He told me "I don't understand why you have all this money to get a tummy tuck, but can't go back to them to get it removed". Your job is to help patients, not judge them.

My son broke his tibia and fibula in a football game. I called ahead, was met at the door with a stretcher, and taken straight back. Dr came in fairly quick, took my phone from my son, cut the crap, got patient history including school grades and future job preference, ordered pain meds and an X-ray and left for another critical patient. He came back to explain the break, surgery, surgeon, etc. He took time for me and my son when he had it and gave comfort and hope. I’m grateful we got him.

Went in to the ER with my special needs who had had a seizure and completely stopped breathing and heart stopped beating for several minutes. When he finally came in the room I tried to ask questions about my daughters care and he interrupted me saying “you’re going to ask a question I can’t answer. So don’t ask it.” Word for word. He walked out of the room while we still had concerns. I held my daughter in my arms and had to do CPR and he wouldn’t even listen to our concerns.

This review is similar to others. I had a miscarriage, which went septic and ended up with an emergency D&C. I went into the ER a few days after with some serious symptoms. Dr. Hirschi told me the problem was stress and to get rid of my concerned furrowed eyebrows. He repeatedly interrupted my questions and just kept saying, "Get rid of it,". Two days later I was diagnosed with septic shock and two infections in my uterus. He sent me home although those test results were still pending.

I found Dr. Hitachi to be refreshing as far as ER doctors go. He was thorough while trying to be reassuring. He had lost a couple of patients the night I came in, but his professionalism showed through by his positive and caring attitude. He made sure I received the medical treatment I needed.

Because Dr. Hirschi took the time to listen to my medical history and symptoms, he ordered an MRI. I came into the ER, throwing up from a bad headache in January of 2016. I was consequently diagnosed with a brain tumor and taken by ambulance to the University of Utah for brain surgery. I have since had chemo and radiation and my last MRI showed no signs of cancer. Dr. Hirschi saved my life. My family and I will be eternally grateful to him. I have never seen better bedside manner in a doctor.

Dr. Hirschi was very friendly and knowledgeable of the problem and went over and above in finding the problem. His bed-side demeanor was excellent and made me feel at ease. One of the best doctors I have seen at this ER. He actually listens to people and communicates his position and decisions. Excellent doctor!!!

Same experience as other patients....he made us feel like we were wasting his time....actually said to me that me bringing my daughter to the er was NOT an emergency and she should not be taking up a bed. As her mother I think I can decide how worried to be for myself. Very poor bedside manner....kept cutting me off whenever I tried to say anything.

My 87 year old mother came to the emergency room by ambulence. Dr. Hirschi did a very brief exam and told her he couldn't find anything wrong with her. She insistted on X-Ray of her back due to the pain. She had X-rays a few days before of her stomach For something unrelated. He did do the X-rays at her iinsistence but yelled at her that they didn't show anything different. A few days later she has an MRI which showed a fracture of L1. He should have had the MRI done when she arrived by ambul
