Dr. Jeffrey Bell, MD

I met Dr. Bell in the ER of Washington Regional Medical Center when my gallbladder suddenly crashed and burned. He and all the staff were terrific:  very open and real, wonderful and compassionate, kept me apprised of everything that was going on, understanding how scared I was. I had a thousand questions - he was very cool and patient with me!!

If you or a loved one ever has the misfortune of having to go through an emergency surgery, I’d strongly advise against trusting Dr. Jeff Bell. She was admitted with appendicitis. During the surgery, Dr. Bell felt the right half of her colon also needed to be removed. There was nothing wrong with her colon, but now she gets to go to the bathroom multiple times a day. This man changed her life! Why wouldn’t he just remove the appendix, then send her for a colonoscopy BEFORE removing a portion of it. Protect yourself and those you love. Request someone else if you are ever referred to Dr. Jeff Bell.

Not good. I was admitted to ICU 5 days later bc of him.

Dr. Bell is a superb Physician. I have had 2 colonoscopies with him with excellent results. I found him to be kind, caring, and knowledgeable. If I need to have any surgeries, he will be my first choice.

Dr Jeffrey Bell performed a hernia repair on me in 2012, and I have had no problems in the 6 years since the surgery. He is thorough and pays attention to details - I like his engineering background. He listened to me and answered all of my questions to my satisfaction. I thought so much of him and his staff that I took them a large fruit basket after my recovery. I am a retired professional who researches medical procedures/materials before I select my specialist. He is excellent.
