I saw him multiple times, but the second bout of referrals for a foot injury was why I'm giving 1 star. I wasn't given x-rays for both of my visits for an issue with my toe and metatarsal area. He changed his mind each visit about what was wrong. I finally got x-rays and a MRI via my primary care doctor and I have a benign bone tumor on that toe, along with bursitis in a few toes and just general stress around my foot and ankle. It's been MONTHS of being told to "stay off of it," and being treated more like an elderly foot patient when i'm in my 30s. I should have gone to sports medicine versus general podiatry. If we would have done xrays outright, would my injury have progressed this far? I don't know, but I'm devastated at the care I received. His demeanor was fine, but not doing due diligence was the fault of him. If you're older, this might be a good fit, but if you're younger, so elsewhere.

My appointment with Dr Chou was at 1445. I arrived at 1430 as requested. Upon arrival, the office was crowded beyond capacity; literally-there was no room to stand. I asked the receptionist multiple times if I should reschedule but I was always the second to the next one. I was finally seen at 1715 and the office staff was closing up before my appt was over. He never addressed my original concern, didn't take my concerns seriously and my feet had blisters from the tape job I received.
