Dr. Jeffrey Costanzo, MD

Dr. Costanzo not only was over aggressive to answering my questions and concerns. But also was insulting to my methods of research. Then had an issue with the medication I was on that was prescribed by another physician all because it made his job more difficult. Not only that he disliked my healthy diet because it aggravated my symptoms. So he encouraged a poorer diet because it wouldn’t cause gas. However, never thought to ask if I was experiencing acid reflux. Now weight loss for someone like myself is very crucial to my health. Yet, he only cared about how easy I made his job. Not sure if I’d want to go to him about anything too serious, as he deflects and does not find a work around and a follow up appointment took months.

I had a horrible experience with another doctor and was afraid to repeat of procedure. Dr. Costanzo assured me that I would not have the same experience . He and his team were incredible. What a difference.!! He is the best G.I. doctor I’ve ever been to and believe me I have seen a lot. I’m so grateful to have found him!

Dr. Costanzo definitely put me at ease right before my Upper Endoscopy. He has a really great team behind him from the nursing staff to the anesthesiologist.

I had a very rare condition that many previous doctors couldn’t figure out. I heard about Dr. Costanzo through a friend who highly recommended him. I am so glad I decided to go see him. He diagnosed me at our first meeting and I’ve been feeling the best I have in a very long time.

Dr. Costanzo is the best doctor in the area. I hunted him down and found out he is now working with Coordinated Health. I am more than willing to make the drive to see him. I will never go back to Scranton Endoscopy Center. They are awful!! Cannot even get an appointment there.

Dr. Costanzo is the best in the area. Unlike other doctors he cares about quality of service, not quantity. Would highly recommend

Dr. Costanzo did ERCP procedure for me in 2015.He was supposed to remove gallstones from the bile duct, but instead finished up in my pancreas.As a result i had a huge abdominal surgery with a lot of complications such as 14 days in induced coma. When i was rushed to an emergency room a day after ERCP, he came to see me & told my husband that he was never in my pancreas & after i was transferred to Lehigh Valley he didnt even call a surgeon to explain what happened during ERCP.

I have seen 3 GI doctors prior to seeing Dr. Costanzo and I have been less than pleased with them. Today was my first appointment with Dr. Costanzo and I was very pleased! He took the time to get to know the background of my stomach issues and was very personable. He was not in and out in 5 minutes like many other doctors are. I feel like he truly listened to me. I highly recommend him!
