After 3 visits it was obvious that my only hope for pain relief was surgery. Dr. Cozzens was very impressive with his knowledge, patience and ability to answer questions. My surgery was very succesful and I am now pain free.

Terrible bedside manner..when he is done with you. Referred me to a specialist that was "the smartest person he knew" who was equally arrogant and condescending and made the wrong call with my condition. Convinced me to have surgery at Springfield memorial after experiencing many defects during my treatment there. Had the surgery and they almost killed me by giving me an infection. They hide behind the excuse that infection is always a risk, but that is their job to manage the risk.

Dr. Cozzens attended my 12 year old son after he was admitted to St Johns PICU. I was impressed by his ability to make my son feel at ease. During our follow up appointment one week later he made a special effort to connect with my son and that was the best therapy and healing ever. He's a gem!

I was a patient of Dr. Cozzens in Evanston, IL. He did my first surgery, cervical, and the results were amazing. I got the feeling back from my neck down, pain lessened alot, and a huge improvement in my quality of life. I was a victim of a violent act 6 months later which resulted in horrific damage, left me unable to walk, and lead to a 2nd surgery to re-stabilize my cervical spine. He did an absolute wonderful and repaired what he could. He was very kind throughout me ordeal.
