Dr. Jeffrey Degen, MD

I would highly recommend Dr. Jeffrey Degen. It is just a little less than a month after Dr. Degen performed a Laminectomy and Spinal Fusion on me. I had been in excruciating pain for several years prior to the surgery. The day after the surgery the pain in my lower back, hip and leg was gone. I of course had some pain in the surgical area but the pain that necessitated the surgery is gone. I am once again able to walk pain free. During my initial appointments, prior to my surgery, Dr Degen explained in detail what the surgery would entail and what I could expect after the surgery. I found Dr. Degen to be both compassionate and professional during every aspect of my treatment and post surgical care.

Dr. Jeffrey Degen is Amazing! I had a very intricate 5+ hour spinal fusion 8 weeks ago and I'm feeling great. He is compassionate, knowledgeable and professional. I would highlty recommed Dr. Degen.

Not happy with the after surgery. 2 months out and as a doctor he should be helping to determine the pain my father is experiencing that he did not have prior.

Misdiagnosed the patient costing additional weeks of pain and unemployment. Most disconcerting was the lack of time Dr. Degen spent with the patient as well as his lack of concern for his patient's welfare.

Our experience with Dr. Degen and his caring, efficient staff couldn't be more different than those of the Apr 16, 2016 poster. My 90 year old uncle was diagnosed with NPH. The doctor spent all the time we needed choosing options. My uncle chose to have a VP shunt inserted. The operation was perfect. Follow-ups go unhurriedly. Dr. Degen then dictates his note right in front of us so that any corrections can be made immediately. He is transparent. We were lucky to have found this neurosurgeon.

Dr. Degen is the absolute best. He explained everything in detail and listened to all questions. In addition, the surgery that he performed was MUCH less invasive then our first opinion. Almost immediately after surgery my husband felt feelings in his fingers again and NO PAIN except for a bit from the surgical site. But no cervical neck pain. A month later my husband is doing great and the PT staff (at a separate facility) are thrilled at how well he is coming along! Dr. Degen and his staff A++

Was very short, didn't explain anything, was obvious he didn't care about anything except getting another patient rushed in and out of his busy schedule.

Dr Degen made an extremely difficult experience bareable. He removed a tumor from my Husbands spine and had him back to work in within the year. We are so incredibly grateful to have found him.
