Dr. Jeffrey Dugas, MD

Disappointed! I would never recommend him. He was my primary physician. I feel he does not take things seriously and undermines the symptoms. I went to his office for a yearly checkup, and there were a few indicators in the blood report that were marked high, and I tried to follow up with him multiple times to understand if they were in any way related to the symptoms that he was undermining during my visit, but he never responded nor there were any follow-ups from his office to discuss my blood report. Second, insurance issue, even though he was listed as an in-network doctor, my yearly exam claim went to out-of-network for United Healthcare.

Worst experience ever!!! Scheduled an appointment via phone for 11:30. Arrived at 11:20 didn’t receive paper work until 11:40.. there was no one else in the clinic. I was asked serval time what doctor I was scheduled to see and repeatedly informed the receptionist I wasn’t told what doctor I would see on the phone. Why wasn’t this documented?? Finally was sent back to be seen and after waiting an hour I was moved to another room because I was scheduled for the other doctor. Why did it take an hour to realize this??? She then took my vitals again??? Was this not entered into the system the first time? Then I was moved to another room and proceeded to wait an additional 30 mins… All of this for a COVID test. I eventually walked out and was not acknowledged by anyone. I will not be returning here. If this is how the office is ran I wouldn’t even trust them to properly process and send off my dna for testing.

He damaged my arm by stabbing my vein and it took more than a month to recover!! My forearm, elbow and surrounding areas were red, blue, purple and black for a few weeks. I had to wear long sleeves in the middle of summer for 4 weeks!!! The office is in a building that’s under construction that doesn’t seem like it should be the location of a doctors office. That was my first red flag. I had to go down to a basement level to see Dugas. I waited over an hour for him to see me. When he drew my blood himself, causing quick and severe pain and blood to fill in my arm. My forearm looked like my calf. I asked him what was happening and Dugas just walked away from me and left me there holding my arm. He didn’t respond or tell me what was happening to me. A few minutes later, the receptionist from the front desk gave me an ice pack and she couldn’t tell me what was happening to arm. It was swelling and becoming larger by the minute! The room is underground and they don’t have WiFi,

He is the most thorough and caring doctor that we have encountered. He really cares about his patients and really takes the time to evaluate every situation and condition. So happy we found him, couldn’t ask for better care, he’s amazing!
