Being highly involved in my mother's course of care x 30 yrs, I became somewhat expert in itMy own history begins later and is substantial in and of itself. I have been treated at both Cornell and Columbia prior to the merger and afterwards. Admittedly an overly descriptive background, I think I know a little bit about Best of Breed cardiovascular treatment and cannot say enough about Dr Fisher. I'm actually facing another possible procedure, and he is always my first go to, and I have never been disappointed by his assessments, recommendations, and actions on my behalf, hands down. He has beyond doubt either save or extended my life on this earth. Full Stop. Dr. Fisher is an outstanding physician. I recently visited Dr. Fisher seeking his guidance regarding an ongoing issue I was experiencing. Dr. Fisher patiently listened to my concerns and performed a comprehensive exam including necessary bloodwork. He advised me to follow up with an appropriate specialist, and at the same time reassured me that he is available for follow up as necessary. Dr. Fisher also responds promptly with test results and to answer all questions. It is rare to encounter a physician with this level of compassion and expertise. I highly recommend Dr. Fisher!

I don't even know where to begin. Let me start by saying that I am a lucky man because I am under Dr. Fisher's care. I wouldn't survive if it weren't for him. I went to Dr. Fisher with heartburn. He did an echocardiogram and then started the stress test. Halfway through, he stopped the test, kept all monitoring devices on, and called an ambulance. Dr. Fisher knew I already had a heart attack and needed to go to the hospital right away. He called the hospital to tell them that I was on my way. He explained the situation's urgency and asked the hospital doctors to do the angioplasty. Throughout this process, he kept in touch with the doctors in the hospital and called me the next day when I was in my hospital bed.I found Dr. Fisher to be very professional and attentive. He does an excellent job managing his schedule as well. I have never had to wait during an office visit. His Office staff are very accommodating. Dr Fisher is an incredible MD. He is an expert!!! diagnostician and extremely kind , dedicated and patient - listening and explaining things so that I can understand.His staff-so nice and his office - books and articles all over for patients to read or if they wish - to borrow. And decor - golf clubs and fun things in every nook and cranny! 5 Stars for him!!

I brought my mother to Dr. Fisher. She was suffering from such shortness of breath she could not walk more than a few steps without needing to stop. Dr. Fisher gave her a 2 hour exam and diagnosed serious heart failure. He was also concerned about an area in her torso that did not seem right and sent her for a CT Scan. Several days later she was diagnosed with Lymphoma. Dr. Fisher delivered the diagnoses with compassion and patiently explained the conditions, answered all questions and assured her that these were treatable conditions. Dr. Fisher had her admitted into Weill Cornell Hospital's cardiac unit and treated her heart failure. When she left the hospital she had no shortness of breath and a bounce in her step. Dr. Fisher is now coordinating her Lymphoma treatment and we are hoping for similar results. It is not an exaggeration to say that Dr. Fisher saved my mother's life. I have never met a more knowledgeable, patient and detail oriented doctor. I can not recommend him enough.
