I had seriously hurt my hip and was in enormous pain. He agreed to see me immediately despite a fully scheduled day. After looking at the x-rays and confirming I hadn't broken my hip, he explained in detail what had happened. I was crying, scared, and in a lot of pain and he was calm, soft spoken and reassuring that from what he assessed after examine me that all would be okay with time, rest, and medication. He scheduled a re-visit with possible MRI if he felt enough improvement wasn't made. I had never been to him before and wouldn't hesitate to refer him to someone else. Thoroughly pleased with his office staff, the doctor, and treatment.

He listened to my concerns and examined the specific area. Suggested and MRI and referred me to a pain management specialist.

Dr Sketchler has treated my knee and a subsequent knee replacement; my rotator cuff surgery; and my hip replacement. He also did both of my husband's shoulder replacements. All have been very successful.

Excellent visit .Gave me wonderful diagnosis,treatment and advice for follow up.

Dr Sketchler has been my orthopedic surgeon for the past 15 yrs. As my body continues to have problems we always discuss all options and he let's me choose which one I need that's best for me. That's what I'm looking for in a physician. Thank you Doctor Sketchler

Dr Sketchler is very clear as he speaks to me about my knee problems which settles my concerns.

I wish I could add more stars. Dr. Sketchler has a great relationship with his patients. He listens to all of my concerns and answers all of my questions. I have two brand new hips that work exceptionally well. He did Carpal Tunnel surgery on my right hand. I will be having the same surgery on my left hand.

Dr Sketchler is always considérate of your feelings while being upbeat. You never have the slightest doubt that he cares about your well being above everything else. He's thorough in his explanations and treatments. Unlike some,he doesn't jump to conclusions without knowing the facts. He asks,listens and examines thoroughly and with care. He also remembers previous interactions,which I've found to be pretty rare in many doctors. He treats you like a person,with dignity and respect and he's always friendly in a professional manner. This visit was to check my chronically bad knee and set up a series of injections which have helped me in the past. When it comes time for my knee replacement,which is imminent,I would only trust Dr Sketchler,but for now we're continuing with more conservative treatment, because I'm just not ready. He understands and is keeping me going in the meantime. There's no better doctor,much less orthopedist in the area,if anywhere.

Dr. Sketcher is kind, compassionate, and reassuring! I had reservations that one of my legs, from knee replacements, was longer than the other. He put those doubts to rest and I can now confidently and patiently continue my pt healing process.

Very knowledgeable, great bedside manners, caring, listens to you, understands the pain issues and gets to the problem for you. A+ doctor.

Dr. Sketchler is all ways professional. He explains conditions and, if tests and/or X-rays are done he shows them to the patient and explains. He is also open about options and answering questions.

Dr Sketchler is the best ortho Dr in town, in my opinion! Listens well, answers any questions, never in a hurry.

Visited for shoulder pain. Office staff was caring and efficient. I was seen right at appointment time. He took great care of me Recommended a steroid injection and today my pain is gone.

His compassion and care for his patients. He goes the extra mile for just a regular visit on top of your surgery.

I wish giving NO stars was an option! What a GREEDY office! $25 fee to complete ONE form. ONE form so someone can care for me and miss out on work post surgery! To complete a ONE page form this office charged $25 for a signature! As if the doctors arent making enough off the surgery itself or the profession they chose. Now they are charging their patients $25 to make sure they are receiving their post op care. Go ahead, take your extra $25 from people who are already spending an arm and a leg on their health. Greed!

Dr. Sketchler has taken care of me since 2004 and I count on him. He has the BEST bedside care. Always a good listener!!!

Dr Sketchler is an excellent doctor and a compassionate person. He takes the time to explain things to me and helps alleviate the bone on bone pain that I am in. I would not go to anyone else but him. He has done surgeries on my knees in the past and the result was always positive.

He has done my right hip replacement and my left knee replacement. I wouldn’t think of going to anyone else.
