My husband and I both have very positive feedback for Dr. Levison. We found him to be professional and relatable…relaxed, direct and patient. He had positive suggestions and certainly was not dismissive of our questions and concerns. He took his time to be sure we understood. His NP, Tim, also impressed us with his personable approach.

He was arrogant telling me he only treats certain types of sick people. He made me feel like my illnesses were not worth his time. He also said I shouldn't go to pain management just to get doped up. He suggested I stick to my previous pcp at Indian Health Services. This was only my second time seeing him and charged me for him just to insult and humiliate me. Not to mention I felt deeply discriminated against.

Least condescending doctor ever!
I usually avoid doctors like the plague,But now we are 77, and decided we needed a 'family doctor' just in case.Dr. Levison was one of the few Dr's. In our area accepting new patients so we made an appointment for us both.OMG where have you been all my life! Dr. Levison is so personable, humorous, knowledgeable, and intelligent! He doesn't make you feel rushed, he doesn't seem more interested in 'filling in the computer blanks', he converses with you rather than at you. Not the least bit condescending!THIS is the doctor I hope to have at my death bed, that's how much I think of him. Hubby feels the same. Oh by the way his PA Tim is terrific too!

Excellent Doctor
Knowledgeable, competent and caring. Dr. Levison takes time to listen. Highly recommend. It's difficult to find a doctor that will take time to listen. It was refreshing to meet and now consult with Dr. Levison. Finally found the PCP we have been looking for.

Highly recommend
Dr. Jeff Levison is one of the least condescending physicians I have ever known, and I have worked with many in large cities in the midwest. He listens well and is very friendly, with a great sense of humor, spends a lot of time with you and gives common sense advice and referrals. My husband and I highly recommend him as an internist and primary care doctor. Pagosa Springs is fortunate to have him.
