Good doctor, poor staff who don't provide records
It is unfortunate, because while Dr. Mazlin is a good doctor, I tried obtaining my medical records (for a time-sensitive surgery he had recommended I get) over the course of 6 weeks. I called no less than 7 times and no one helped. Each time, I was promised that they would get them to me within a week, and at each week's end, no one had any update or could find any record of them being requested. When you need a surgery, have a date with a surgeon that took months to get, and then you're not provided with your own health records, it's impossible to want to return, no matter how good the doctor might be. In addition, when I got a call from Dr. Mazlin and explained the situation, he didn't offer support or help either.

Dr. Mazlin performed an endometrial biopsy. Two days later, I was in terrible abdominal pain and running a high fever. Dr. Mazlin finally returned my call and when I described my pain, he said it had nothing to do with him. He said he did not need to see me and I should call my internist. Two days later, I landed up in the ER. I was in the hospital for five days and needed to have surgery. I took triple doses of different antibiotics and I ran a fever of 103 for days. Anyone who uses Dr. Mazlin, needs to have her head examined. This man should not be practicing medicine.

I was seen by Dr. Mazlin for over a year. And suffered through too many unnecessary procedures and treatments. How do I know this? Because after experiencing pain from the procedures followed by at least a month of healing ( 4/12 months of the year) I decided to switch my provider and learned a lot of what I had undergone was unnecessary. It's really unacceptable how much they charge your insurance company and all the unnecessary lab tests.

Dr. Mazlin is one of my favorite all time doctors! I have been going to him for over 20 years. He is caring and easy to talk to. No one really likes going to the gyno, but Dr. Mazlin makes it a quick easy experience where it’s a walk in the park. I definitely recommend him!

Dr. Mazlin has been my GYN. for almost 24 years and I have total confidence and respect for him. He has taken care of my various issues with knowledge, respect, professionalism, and patience. I have referred several of my friends to him and they share my opinion. You will not find another doctor like him. He is a rare jewel. He is the most caring and sensitive doctor you will ever meet.
