Dr. Jeffrey McConnell, MD

Dr. McConnell replaced 2 cervical discs in my neck. During the surgical consult, he never pushed for a specific direction. He laid out the options and explained the pros and cons of each. I ultimately chose to proceed with disc replacement surgery, and I'm glad I did. Once I made my choice, he made me feel confident in my decision. Since having surgery, my recovery has gone faster than I could have imagined, and the pain I had experienced for a year has disappeared. I appreciate Dr. McConnell's candor and laid-back approach, and it's clear that he is a skilled and trustworthy surgeon.Some additional context: Prior to seeing Dr. McConnell, I had done the same research that I assume you are doing now by seeing ratings and reading reviews. You can be confident that Dr. McConnell's high ratings and positive reviews are deserved!

Dr. McConnell performed a laminotomy and discection on me that totally relieved my pain from my herniated disc. After two weeks, I amazed my doctors when I told them I never needed a pain pill after surgery. I have a new lease on life and I owe it to Dr. Mc Connell and many prayers.

On May 10, 2021 Dr. McConnell replaced two discs in my neck. My surgery went well and I was able to go home the same day. He was amazing before the surgery to take time to answer all of our questions. And having had the same surgery himself he was able to give us so much insight. The pain I had in my arm and the numbness I had in my fingers is gone thanks to him. I can not Thank this man enough for giving me back my life. The best gift of all is that I can hug my loved ones without the pins and needles and pain bringing me to tears. I pray I never need another surgery like this again but if I do I know the Dr for me is Dr. McConnell. If you are where I was and need disc replacement surgery do yourself a favor and see Dr. McConnell.

Dr McConnell was my surgeon for my neck surgery and I could not be any happier. At first, I was reluctant to have surgery but upon my first visit with him, he made me feel comfortable with the options I faced. His mannerism and professionalism is a step above! He takes time to listen to your issues and addresses them in a way that places you at ease and helps you understand. His "bedside manner" is a throwback and is something to be admired. Health-wise, I am 100% today because of Dr McConnell. I highly recommend him if the need arises.

Great doctor ! Extremely helpful. I was bounced all over from doctor to doctor and finally found Dr. McConnell . He was no nonsense, and helped me from the very first visit. I would highly recommend him to friends and family.

I found Dr. McConnell to be kind, thorough and unhurried. Two hours post-op was up and moving and pain-free. Had undergone multiple spinal steroid injections, was taking medication and had become hypertensive. Within a few weeks of surgery, was off all meds, normotensive and had my life back. Recommend him highly.

Dr. McConnell is personable, as well as being a skilled surgeon. After suffering pain for over a year, I was completely pain free after surgery and have remained so ever since. Not everyone may achieve the same results as I did, but I would feel confident about recommending him.

Dr. McConnell is, in my eyes, the best surgeon ever. He is soft spoken & takes time with you during a visit. He lets you talk & listens attentively to ALL of your concerns. If he has a question or is unsure of what your thoughts are, he explains everything in layman's terms! My surgery with Dr. McConnell was very extensive, but after a 9 hour spine surgery, I immediately felt better. I was up walking the next day & had no pain. I understand that I may have been an exception, but after years of chronic pain, to me I had no pain at all. Of course I was on meds in the hospital, but I've been home now going on 2 weeks & I can honestly say I have no pain. I am still on meds for pain but only take them when really needed. It's great to feel good again. It's like starting a new life. Lastly, I'd like to thank Dr. McConnell & his PA's, the nurses at Lehigh Valley & everyone that helped in my recovery! God bless all!

I had spinal stenois dr mc Connell did my surgery. it was painless from start to finish I could not walk 200 feet without pain in my legs. the next day the pain was gone cannot thank this dr. enough

Dr. Jeffrey McConnell performed surgery on my lower back for a dislocated disc. It has now been approximately ninety days since the operation and I am virtually pain free for the first time in years. Dr. McConnell is a caring physician with a good bedside manner. He cares about his patients well being and his abilities speak for themselves. I would highly recommend Dr. McConnell.

Had narrowing of the cervical spine, Constant pain in neck , right shoulder , arm and hand, Numbness in hand. for over 2 years, couldn't sleep at nights , took pain meds, no relief, muscle relaxers no relief, Two bouts of PT, no relief, injections in the shoulder by ortho surgeon, injections in cervical spine no relief, Went to MD McConnell, MRI done, surgery scheduled and within 2 weeks my pain was gone. Dr Mcconnell is such an excellent surgeon with superior technical skills. I had an acute injury which needed prompt medical care and he went out of his way to take care of me, placing my needs above all else. I woke up from surgery pain free! It was a miracle. I highly recommend Dr McConnell for surgical spine care.

After 30 years of debilitating pain and several doctors who told me I wasn't in that much pain, Dr. McConnell found the problem and corrected it. I got my life back. Not only am I able to be more functional, but getting off painkillers has made a huge change in how I feel. It's great! Now I can hold my new grandson!
