I selected Dr Nees in 2008 with 3 bulging discs and L5 shifted. After playing WC games for 8 months he was able to do the first 2 level fusion. 16 months later my final L3-4. Even after a motorcycle wreck in 2020, they remained Intact. Recommend him enough to I'm gonna trust him again for L2-3.

I was referred to Dr Nees by another well known physician in the city and I thank God because he referred me Dr Nees. The Physician that referred me to Dr Nees, lacked bed side manners and it shows even in his staff. Now lets talk about Dr Nees, from the very first day we met, this is what I have noticed, - His bed side manners is amazing! - His staff exuberates kindness. His office just got the process down right perfect! Starting from Crixelle who greets you with politeness, and caring, to Kendra who makes sure you are ready to be seen by the doc and also gets the surgery scheduled to Dr Anderson and Dr Nees, the duo team doing their magic. - He is a hidden gem and everyone needs to know about him and his team. They are down to earth, humble and very polite. You can teach skills but I promise you you cant teach kindness and this office has mastered kindness and customer service!! I am extremely grateful for this team and above all so thankful that I was referred to Dr Nees.

I saw Dr. Nees in Norman Regional Hospital. I was admitted due to severe pain in my ear, and no one knew what was causing it. Dr. Nees did the research, and accurately diagnosed me after five days in the hospital with glossopharyngeal neuralgia (and taught me how to spell it!). My illness usually goes misdiagnosed on average for five years. Dr. Nees had it right in five days. While he was right, he had never done the required surgery before, so he pointed me in the right direction. To be clear, he saved my life.

I wouldn't recommend him. No compassion or care for well being of the patient. At times is neglectful.

I put off back surgery for 8 yrs. after being a passenger in a horrible auto accident. The fractures in my back were a small part of the picture. After months of rehab, physical therapy, multiple epidural injections, etc., etc., I saw Dr. Nees because a dear friend had nothing but PRAISE for him. His staff was SO kind, considerate, and caring. After a couple of appointments, in 2008, he did 4 fusions beginning with S-1 thru L-2 (as low as you can go on the spine.). HE IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST!
