Dr. Jeffrey Nelson, DO

EXCELLENT in more ways than one !!!! He was assigned to me once Dr. Mohr relocated out of state, whom i considered unreplaceable, and Dr. Nelson was/is of the same kindness, work ethic, AND ALL ELSE THAT COMES WITH A PHYSICIAN YOU ALWAYS WANT TO HAVE AS YOURS.

Dr Nelson is very thorough and a great PCP. I am lucky to be one of his patients. He follows up on issues via the My Premise Health app and is an overall awesome person! Definitely recommend.

On our first visit for a new patient the doctors office tried to get us to do a virtual appointment and we declined. My husband and I had back to back appointments. The plus is that they saw us both at the same time. The doctor listened to our heart and lungs and felt lightly around my neck total amount of time examining me and my husband was about 1 minute. During this time he claimed to feel nodules on my thyroid. Then says he wants to do an ultrasound and add most of the time they are Benign. I have had cancer in the past and my mother has cancer now and they doctor was told both of these things. I show up for the ultrasound and the tell the tech what the doctor said. After the ultrasound she say my thyroid is completely normal and has no nodules. SO this doctor is either has no idea what he is doing or he intentionally having unnecessary medical test done. I am limited on space but there is more things that made us feel uncomfortable with the doctor and clinic. We will not go back!

He listens, doesn't judge, is wicked smart, and has helped me a ton.

I have seen Dr. Nelson for 4 years and hope to never lose him as a Dr. he listens and is patient with me, and explains things well. When I have come to him with concerns, he helps find out what the issue is instead of pushing pills.

Horrible doesn't call you himself to talk to you to go over your results. Also doesn't tell you what to do to get out of pain. Just gives drugs.

I have been Dr.Nelson patient for a year now and He is a great Doctor he sits there and listen to you. Any and All of your questions you have he can answer them if not he will fine out about it and tell you.

Had to go for second option for disability excellent doctor will keep in case my doctor moves!

As a first-time patient, recently moving to Mt. Dora from Orlando, I was very pleased with Dr. Nelson. He was very personable and low-key, taking his time for conversation and interaction. I feel fortunate to have found his practice so near my new home.
