Dr. Jeffrey Palmgren, MD

My experience with Dr Palmgren and his staff has been excellent! I standouts are Lexi Patterson (APRN) and Dr Palmgern. With my chronic condition, I have required multiple appointments and surgeries. With no hesitation I highly recommend Dr Palmgren.

This guy is a joke he's more of a glorified consultant looking for an easy paycheck then a Urologist. I waited several months to see him in 2020 for an extremely soar varicocele just to be told by him to not lift more than 20 pounds and to wear really tight underware. The funny thing is he told me this after I told him I do construction for a living. I asked him about surgery or any other options i had to deal with it. He said he doesn't do surgery anymore and hasn't for 8 years, then basically told me to have a nice day. I then asked if he could give me any more advise and all he said was don't worry about it because some of the older patients he has seen have balls down to there knee's. I was then literally rushed out of his office. This guy should really go back to the mainland, he's taking advantage of local Big Islanders (not in a good way) because there is a high demand for urologists here and a low supply and he knows it. Also what kind of Urologist doesn't do sugery?

After complications from a vasectomy that he performed, Dr Palmgren refused to see me for over 1yr, for intense testicular pain due to PVPS. He and his office continued to deny me when I reported intense and debilitating pain from the procedure. When he eventually did see me, his recommendation was that we continue to do nothing and see how that works for us, or that he could perform another vasectomy to remove even MORE vas deferens. I scheduled an appt with a competent physician instead, and had the procedure reversed.

Dr Palmgren saved my life when he treated my advanced prostate cancer. We lost an excellent and compassionate doctor when he left Oregon.

Dr. Palmgren treated my bladder cancer when he practiced in Oregon. I was disappointed when he left because I really felt he was top notch. I can't give him anything but the highest reviews. I felt he really works at it to stay current on the latest medical practices to better serve his patients. Young enough to still have "the fire" and old enough to have a mature approach. I'm confident you'll feel the same way if you are in his care.

My G.P. recommended him after discovering the tumor on a Friday. I was able to see Dr. Palmgren the next week when he had office hours in Lincoln City. He listens and explains everything very well, and he also does not mind my questions. I've been seeing him for over two years and am very satisfied with his knowledge, skills, and open friendly manner. A definite plus - he is not an arrogant egotistical jerk.
