Dr. Jeffrey Sabine, MD

My 87 year old mother showed early signs of dementia and I requested sabine sign a form so I could put her in an assisted living facility because I live several states away and my dad passed in 2007. She was given a simple cognitive test at sabine's office and she failed it. She had a cat and would not allow it to leave the house, the result was a house smelling like a litter box. She developed a severe cough, sabine determined it to be asthma (which I doubt) because when she fell and broke her hip I was able to get her transported to assisted living at which time her cough disappeared completely. Sabine refused to sign the form and about 2 weeks later mom fell and broke her left hip and wrist. From that point forward she lived only 3 months and I blame sabine. He stated she didn't want to go to assisted living but she was not competent to make that decision. She could still be alive if this guy had taken the time to evaluate her properly.

Do Not Go HERE!!! Went for a PCP to refer wife to pain Mgt, but was prejudiced against her and did not listen to anything we said in the few short minutes we got to speak to them. They were rude, contemptuous, dismissive, and impertinent. They did NOT listen to anything I told them, and arbitrarily decided to cut her meds and issued weekly scripts, and suggested I "google addiction specialists" as their Pain Mgt didnt accept her. She received nothing but contempt and derision and NO CARE.

May lack a little on bedside manner, but he has been very competent and accurate with is diagnoses, treatments and followups.
