Dr. Shepard gives easy to apply home care instruct
Instead of staying in the hospital several days after surgery, husband was sent home the next day with good instructions and a follow up appointment. Doctor and his nurse were super with our follow up questions.

Quick identification of bursitis. Perhaps back involvement. Not a surprise as the PA spoke of it at my 6 wk post hip replacement

I received my sixth knee injection. It was the smoothest, least painful yet. PA Tom Swan gave the injection as usual. I have had great success with these injections.

Dr. Shepherd and my hip replacement
1st visit went the way I thought, but Dr. Shepherd took extra time explaining my condition. When I left, I was at ease knowing what was in store for me. The other part of calming things down is that I was asked by 3 other people, 'who's doing your hip replacement'.... I told them Dr. Shepherd and all 3 told me, 'You got a good one'! Surgery went well and I came home the next day. Everything they told me is what happened. 6 weeks went by and I was told to do what I wanted and let the pain be your guide. I'm getting more movement and feeling great. Hopefully next year, I'll be able to play golf with my kids & grand kids as I've missed that this summer.

My only complaint is only being able to see on Wed
The staff are very efficient, professional & caring. They remember me from previous visits. I did not see Dr. S., but saw Tom, the PA, and I have no problem with Tom...he is great. Because of the issues I have been dealing with, I had hoped to see Dr. Shepherd. Overall, it was a fine visit. The entire staff is always great!
