Dr. Jeffrey Tavis, MD

During my time with poor excuse of a medical failure, he was disrespectful, demeaning, and rude. He was unable demonstrate even a minute understanding of medical principles. He is an embarrassment to the medical community.I am a real doctor, who used to teach doctors how to be doctors. I would have failed him.If your insurance assigns you to him. Demand to be assigned to someone else. After all. You want to live.

This man is condescending and arrogant and just plain rude. Not to mention he refuses to do his actual job by feigning total ignorance. I’ve had multiple run-ins with this particular provider (his NEGLIGENCE had a first hand in my fathers demise) and he is always the same - callous - uncaring - and all around generally a ridiculous excuse for a medical doctorCan’t bother to answer his phone when he has a patient in the hospital and he is supposed to be treating them after surgery - multiple people are trying to get ahold of him…like nurses…who NEED THEIR PATIENTS ORDERS APPROVED. Delay in care is ridiculous and detrimental. My mother has been waiting for her maintenance meds for almost 72hrs THIS TIME. My father waited almost 4 days for basic treatment at a rehab facility all because Dr. Tavis refuses to do his job, then feigns ignorance. Now Dr. Tavis claims nobody informed him about my mother. When you don’t answer your phone, of course you wouldn’t know about the situation.

I saw Dr. Tavis today in the Apple Valley office. My mother was actually the patient and I am her daughter and caregiver. I was very impressed with the knowledge Dr. Tavis displayed. He took his time to explain everything to us and had great “bedside manner.” I wish he could become my mom’s primary care doctor. I can’t give him enough praise. I highly recommend Dr. Tavis. What a great disposition he has!

Dr. Tavis' Negligence Killed My Dad. My Dad was in distress= incoherent Cold to the touch and sweating. He wasted precious time saying that my family was "annoying" he rambled on about putting my Dad in a home. My Dad was talking and joking before he went into San Antonio Hospital in Upland. When I discussed the fact that my Dad was Sweating and Cold to the touch Dr. Tab is replied "What do you want me to do about it?!" I said "I don't know I'm not a doctor. ????
