Dr. Jeffrey Vieira, MD

I went to Dr. Jeff for decades, starting in the early 80's and I cannot say enough about what a fine doctor and caring human being he is. Patients may not know that he was an unsung hero in the age of AIDS, even visiting sick patients at home and winning humanitarian recognition. Dr. Jeff treats all of his patience with dedication and respect. His diagnostic skills are superb and he gives his patients the benefits of his thought processes in all aspects of diagnosis and treatment options, which allows patients to make truly informed decisions. When he retires from his practice, I imagine he will go off and do volunteer medical work somewhere overseas, and will be sorely missed by his patients.

My wife recommended Dr. Vieira to me after our long-term primary care physician moved up in the world to clinical administration at Presbyterian-Methodist in Brooklyn. I was impressed with Dr. Vieira's direct answers to my questions and the range of guidance he offered in response to my concerns on my first appointment. To me that spells p-r-o-f-e-s-s-i-o-n-a-l. It also spells concerned and thoughtful, but this is a review and not a spelling lesson.

Excellent doctor; Supurb at listening to patient and explaining to patient. Spends as much time as necessary.

Horrible physician and misdiagnosed my condition for over a year. Lacks basic knowledge and staff is completely a disaster.

I love Dr. Vieira its very rare to find a doctor that really cares about his patients in this day and age he takes his time and explains everything. No rush he makes sure he reads all results to you personally he makes time to take you into his office and explain treatment options just an all around excellent doctor.

I would highly recommend Dr. Vieira to a love one. I saw him based on a follow up from the ER, and after having my medical doctor for over 15 yrs. I am now a permanent patient of Dr. Vieira. His hospitality manners are exceptional!! He was very informative too.
